Kult: The Temple of Flying Saucers (Amiga)
Here's some in-game video from Kult: The Temple of Flying Saucers - one of my favourite games back in the days of the Amiga 500. The game itself was released in 1989, and according to my knowledge, it is known as "Chamber Of The Sci-Mutant Priestess" in the USA. I much prefer the original European name myself, although both names do a pretty good job at describing how absurd the game itself is. As far as adventure games go, Kult isn't that special: it's short (even if you don't choose to skip the first half of the game, which can be done if you know how), simple, sometimes illogical and it's got one of the most confusing background stories I've ever heard (which, of course, isn't necessarily a bad thing). Kult more than makes up for it's weaknesses as a game with it's claustrophobic atmosphere (which is whipped up by a combination of beautiful - and stylistically very original - graphics and amazing sound effects) and it's unique combination of a graphical point-and-click interface, text-adventure-like event descriptions and general visual presentation which is very much reminiscent of interactive comic books. There's something very European in this digital cocktail, something very French, I think... This approximately ten minute clip has been crudely edited down from 20+ minutes, due to YouTube's length restrictions, and shows more or less all relevant locations of the game, plus me messing up the final mouse clicks of the final confrontation, because I forgot what I was <b>...</b>

The Kult - No Home Today (1969)
The Kult's only single, on CBS Records, 1969. Recorded in Pye #2 Studios in Marble Arch, London in 1969, the A side was written by producer Vic Maile. B side 'Mister Number One' was written by Richard Melhuish and Pete O'Driscoll. The Kult were based in the Bexhill-on-Sea area of Sussex, and included Richard Melhuish (guitar), brothers Pete & Mike O'Driscoll (vocals & bass, respectively), and John Hales (drums). Bassist Robert Searle replaced Mick O'Driscoll when he took over management. Many thanks to Richard Melhuish for info & photos.

This is Kult : Heretic Kingdoms, a game developed by the Slovakian studio 3D People. Kult: Heretic Kingdoms was released in 2004 and was published in North America as Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition You play as an female inquistor who's on a quest to retrieve the Godslayer sword. Throughout the course of the game, a series of choices made by the player can lead the protagonist to choose a variety of paths, following or breaking with the Inquisition and changing the game's ending. · There are six different endings with real consequences to the player and the game world. With the lack of multiplayer the downloadable map editor sure helps to keep the game interesting. An unusual aspect of the game is the existence of a parallel reality called the Dreamworld. This is inhabited by incorporeal entities such as wraiths and ghosts. The character may briefly escape a perilous situation in the real world by entering the dream world, and use this to travel about.
