This video is my quick video diary of how I discovered Mehterlaam Baba's Shrine in Laghman Afghanistan in year 2007- Mehterlaam Baba is believed to be the father of Prophet Noah PHUB whose tomb was discovered by the famous Afghan King Mahmoud Ghaznavi. The story of the discovery of Mehter Lam Baba shrine is rather interesting and extra ordinary one, It is believed that it was discovered by Mahmud of Ghazni (November 2, 971 - April 30, 1030), the most prominent ruler of the Ghaznavid dynasty who ruled from 997 until his death in 1030 in the eastern Iranian lands. Mahmud turned the former provincial city of Ghazni into the wealthy capital of an extensive empire which covered most of today's Iran, Afghanistan as well as Pakistan and North-West India. He was also the first ruler to carry the title Sultan ("authority"), signifying the extent of his power, though preserving the ideological link to the suzerainty of the Caliph. Mahmud Ghaznavi invaded India 17 times during his reign as Sultan. Mehterlaam Baba is referred to as Methar Lamech in Bible. The common story among the believers is that once while sleeping Mahmud Ghaznavi had a dream in which he saw an old man (supposedly Methar Lamech) asking him why he hasn't paid respect to his tomb, in response Ghaznavi stated that he had no idea where his shrine was situated so the old man replied "let a group of camels go east (Mehtar Lam being in the east of Ghazni province) and follow the lead, wherever they stop is where I am <b>...</b>
