Languedoc-Roussillon Part I: A Crash Course History
I have been honored to be a part of movement called Sud De France which promotes and celebrates the wines of Southern France. I have always loved these wines and figured I would put that passion on video. Here is the first installment of the Langudoc-Roussillon series. It is a crash-course history of the region. I will continue next week with specifics on the various appellations and microclimates of the area. ENJOY!

Lors de la journée régionale du 25/06/09 la "Coalition contre Agrexco" organisait un rassemblement devant le conseil régional Langudoc Roussillon. En effet G. Frêche président de région a fait voter l'implantation de l'entreprise israélienne Agrexco dans le port de Sète. Cette entreprise qui exporte fruits légumes et fleurs est directement liée à la colonisation et spolie les paysans palestiniens. 80 organisations ont signé l'appel contre l'implantation d'Agrexco à Sète et ailleurs !

The supporting cast includes Jack Buetel, Thomas Mitchell, and Walter Huston. Hughes also produced the film, while Howard Hawks served as an uncredited co-director. The film is notable as Russell's breakthrough role, largely due to the costuming, turning the young actress into a sex symbol and a Hollywood icon. The film revolves around a fictional relationship between Doc Holliday (Walter Huston) and Billy the Kid (Jack Buetel), and their feud over a woman named Rio McDonald (Jane Russell). The film also includes Pat Garrett (Thomas Mitchell), the Kid's nemesis.
