Chrono Trigger (Part 73) - Lavos Awakens

After we defeat the Golem Twins, we see probably the best storyline portion of the game! As we approach the next room, the Mammon Machine starts going wild. Schala is bound by a magical force, and Crono throws the Ruby Knife into the Mammon Machine, creating the Masamune. Lavos then appears and crushes the party. The Prophet reveals himself as Magus, who has a personal score to settle with Lavos. However, not even Magus is enough to defeat him. Crono tries to save the others, but in the process is killed by Lavos. Schala uses her last energy to save the party from disaster. Zeal is destroyed by the power of Lavos and the Mammon Machine.

Chrono Trigger Final Boss Battle - Inner Lavos Core w/Bits

This is it. The Final Battle between my team and the inner core of Lavos. Lavos is split into three; the Lavos Core, Left Bit and Right Bit. The Right Bit is the True Lavos Core besides... I had to focus as much energy as possible in taking down this beast who will be responsible for the destruction of the future. Now... just watch and see what happens.

Day of Lavos 1999 AD

Squaresoft's hit game Chrono Trigger for the SNES, was a treat for anyone who has played it. The story is mostly based around trying to stop the world from being destroy, by using time travel. This point of the game's story tells how the world was destroy from a recording of the "Day of Lavos" in which the Lavos destroys the world. I love this scene and wanted to show other people who haven't played the game.

Chrono Trigger - LLG Part XXXIII: Final Battles, Lavos Core

The video that concludes my long Chrono Trigger Low Level Game series. Thanks to everyone who has been following it, you guys have been great support! Much thanks to big_kake too, without whose detailed FAQ I would have found it extremely difficult to deal with many of the extreme bosses, not to mention that I wouldn't have distributed the experience gain the right way! The game is finished! My final levels are as follows: Crono - level 1 Marle - 4 Robo - 16 Frog - 15 Lucca - 15 Ayla - 20 Magus - 37 (I have never used him, ever, backtrack to the previous videos if you have disbelief) The average level of the only low level party that can win the game is... SEVEN! You heard it correctly. The inner Lavos is a very hard battle, but we are not expecting anything light at this point. We open the battle by using Lifeline, which is the biggest necessity at this point. The middle part has quite a few attacks that take out the entire party, and they depend on the time the battle takes place in. All of them are deadly, although the fractional attack is obviously not a menace as it is unable to kill us. Furthermore, Robo is able to survive Evil Star, whilst Crono and Marle (with lightning absorbing White Mails equipped) are able to withstand his lightning attack, which hits one party member at a time. The battle is won if the right part falls, and it happens to have the most HP of all three parts of the inner Lavos. If we take the other two out, however, the only thing the right bit ...

Chrono Trigger - LLG Part XXXII: Final Battles, Lavos II

Playlist of the whole challenge www.youtube.com It is impossible to complete the challenge using any other party but a party of Crono, Marle and Robo. There is an abundance of full-party attacks that neither defence/HP-increasing accessories, nor Barriers/Shields can reduce in order to have at least one character withstand the battle. Okay, Magus technically CAN, but we're not using him, ever - having a level 37 party member would kill the purpose of the challenge. But, fortunately, we have Lifeline - a triple tech mastered by Crono, Marle and Robo, thus making them the only possible party for the final boss. Using this tech gives all three party members Auto-Revive status, granting them the only means of surviving some really nasty spells coming their way. But that's not all. Before you can hope to cast Lifeline, Lavos kills the party! This is why GreenDream, a one-time only Auto-Life accessory (it disappears after being activated once) is vital to continuing the game after this disaster. A few words about equipping your charactes. Each must be given his/her best weapon, and Robo should be given Terra (nor Crisis) Arm, otherwise he wouldn't be very a reliable attacker (if he uses an attack after being revived, it will do 0 damage). Crono and Marle have no chances for surviving all of the non-fractional moves, so it's a good idea to give one of them (or both) one of your two Haste Helms. I chose Crono and Robo, because they will be doing all the attacking in this (and the ...

The first 21 tracks of the album out of 25 were identical to Chrono Trigger Original Soundtrack, while the next three tracks corresponded to tracks 22, 23, and 29 of the Original Soundtrack and the final track was the same as the first track of Brink of Time. Chrono Trigger (Part 131) - Magus Solos Lavos!

Magus (Level 53) -Doom Sickle (more damage when friends are fallen) -Haste Helm (grants auto-Haste) -Moon Armor -Prism Specs (drastically increases damage) Magus defeating both of Lavos' forms in 9 minutes. I decided to try this challenge since a friend of mine (ZeromusX) did the same thing awhile ago! It's actually pretty easy and Magus is a perfect character to do it with this setup. I dumped some of my Magic Tabs and Speed Tabs on Magus but I didn't max him out. I know ZeromusX prefers Nova Armor to Moon Armor for the status lock (and admittedly Magus did get affected by Chaos in the fight) but Moon Armor does provide a little bit extra protection as a trade-off. The Doors of Destruction Lavos is very easy. Just keep going crazy with Dark Matter and do normal attacks when the arms are done. For Lavos Core, make sure you first Barrier and Shield yourself with items, they will cut down on the damage by a huge amount. Use normal attacks to clear the left bot, and when the right bot lowers its defense, go crazy with Dark Matters. It will do 3000+ damage to each portion. When only one of them is up, just go nuts with normal attacks again. Continue the process and you win!

Hi there, I noticed that not many people have attempted Zohar's arrangement yet, so I thought I'd try it..it's quite difficult!!! Not just technically, but you do start to get fatigued after playing it a few times! If you know the Zohar arrangement well, you'll notice I changed a few little details, to make it more similar to the ingame version :) I learnt this in about an hour-ish, then decided to record, cause I'd just get more tired if I practised it more. There are a few little blemishes, and I may upload another version in the future....enjoy! Oh, and for some reason, I decided to go with a blisteringly fast tempo...just to make it harder for myself :)

Chrono Trigger - LLG Part XXXI: Lavos I (diff. boss forms)

Playlist of the whole challenge www.youtube.com Our first battle against Lavos and by far the easiest. Before we fight the actual Lavos, we have to engage in battles against many of the previous bosses we have already defeated. They are all very easy. Basically, kill all bosses with your strongest techniques, recovering MP with MegaElixirs between the battles when needed. Heckran is resistant to physical attacks and should be attacked with Magical attacks for the best results. Our best attack that uses the Magic stat is Robo's Shock, so we use it three times in a row. Azala is also better attacked with Magic than anything else. What else did I miss? For Magus, switch Frog in (for his Masamune properties), and Uzzi Punch Lavos with Robo until he changes his barrier to lightning, then reduce his magical defence with Masamune's slash and throw a couple of Shocks his way for over 4000 damage. Then just finish him off. For the real Lavos, equip HP enhancing accessories and heal after each of its damaging moves, attacking when safe. He will go down. Well, that's it, I can now prepare for the final battles! Wish me luck! The sound got messed up on this video, so I put a weird song over it. If you don't like it, just turn the sound off. The song used is called "Slaughtergarden Suite" by the Japanese group SIGH (album called "Imaginary Sonicscape").

Chrono Trigger (Part 128) - Lavos Core Part 1

The final fight in the game! The fight is pretty basic but it can be confusing if you don't understand it at first. Destroy the left bot first. This bot heals the center and allows the right bot to retain an extremely high defensive value. Make sure to take this out first (it only has about 2000 hit points) and wait for the right bot to drop its defense. Then, start doing multi-target strong magic like Shock, Luminaire, and Dark Matter. When you do this, you will inflict heavy damage on both the center and right bot and will eat away at its hit points. The center Lavos Core is responsible for all of the bosses most powerful attacks. Among them are multiple attacks that can do 500-900 damage to the entire party depending on the character's level and gear. Keep in mind that the right bot is really the basis of the fight. It has the most hit points and will regenerate the center and left bots if you take too long in destroying it.
