Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Modified for Law Enforcement & Military Professionals

www.GracieUniversity.com --- An encounter between a military/law enforcement professional and suspect is vastly different from a street fight or a sport jiu-jitsu match. Yet, some Combatives/Defensive Tactics programs make no distinction. Gracie Survival Tactics (GST) is the Gracie Academy's specialized Combatives/Defensive Tactics program for military and law enforcement professional, and it is the fastest growing Combatives/Defensive Tactics program in the world because it is the only "jiu-jitsu based" program that is 100% law enforcement applicable that has also been proven in actual combat by US military troops around the globe. Now, for the first time ever, the complete GST program is available online for active duty military and law enforcement professionals around the world with proper credentials. In this video, Ryron and Rener show you what makes the GST course so unique. The GST Advantage Unlike other Defensive Tactics programs, which rely on a certain degree of compliance from the bad guy, the GST program is designed exclusively for worst-case scenarios. GST has been developed and refined over the last 17 years on these three "truths:" 1) The bad guy always has the ambush advantage. In a real fight, there is no referee to start or to stop the fight when you are getting assaulted. Only the bad guy knows when and how he will attack. Any time you are close enough to conduct a pat-down, or to exchange documents, you are close enough to be ambushed. In the GST ...

The group can be identified by a gang-like hand sign holding up three fingers and tattoos of Bar codes and the number "3000" on the back of their Necks. If this doesn't remind you of the mark of the beast system I don't know what will. Anything with a number is modern day slavery. Did you know that the First Social Security cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes? Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the message was removed. Now it is one form of mandatory identification. We'll take a look at the new hacker group Lulzsec. Their logo is a combination of a "rage face" and the monopoly guy, and on their website they seem to try to portray themselves as a playful group. Lulzsec also made a pass at the already battered Sony, attacking three of their websites, for once again leaving all of their consumer data unencrypted. And hacked Nintendo's website, however this attack didn't affect any user data, and the group says it was a warm-up for its big hit, FBI-affiliated sites.

Radley Balko on the 3 Worst Cases of Police Abuse in 2011

Due to the violence depicted and discussed in this video, viewer discretion is advised. The 1991 beating of Rodney King by the Los Angeles Police Department, which came to light after being caught on video by a citizen trying out a video camera, ushered in a new age of transparency and openness when it comes to law enforcement. Since then, sound and vision from any number of sources - including cell-phone cams and pocket recorders, not to mention footage shot by police themselves - have captured law enforcement in action in a wide range of circumstances. Sometimes, the footage exonerates the police and sometimes it incriminates them. Always, though, we as citizens gain from having a better sense of how law enforcement operates, even (or especially) when what we see is hugely disturbing. Reason.tv's Nick Gillespie talked with Reason columnist Radley Balko, proprietor of The Agitator and a long-time student of the increasing militarization of police. We asked Balko to talk about he thinks are the three most-schocking videos of police abuse that have come to light so far in 2011. Ironically, Balko notes that widespread video of police at work gives rise to the misimpression that such violent abuse is on the rise while police are almost certainly more respectful of civil liberties than they were 50 or 60 years ago. He argues that it's precisely because citizens and watchdogs (including many with the law enforcement community) have more tools at their disposal to ferret out ...

www.Formula4409.com This video is NOT anti-cop, its pro-peace officer. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● Russell Pearce claims law enforcement acts on our behalf and this is why they deserve infinite amnesty from prosecution and civil suits. Why stop there Russell, lets just make EVERY government employee that works on our behalf immune from prosecution and indemnified. Why should cops, prosecutors, and judges be the only ones above the law? I would love to see the clerk at the DMV running amock with immunity. How about the metro bus driver? ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● FIFTH AMENDMENT -- 'No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or -- PROPERTY --, without due process of law. Russell claims that any case you bring against a cop is frivolous and his legislation is the judge and jury on this issue. ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● I will admit, I don't quite trust law enforcement with this power because I am personally familiar with malicious arrests and prosecutions and I will guarantee this power will be abused. There are so many issues with this bill the I could rant for 2 hours.

40 Years of Drug War Failure: LEAP's Neill Franklin

On June 17, 1971 President Richard Nixon launched the modern-day drug war, an effort perpetuated by every one of his successors. As the reform group Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) documents in a new comprehensive study, the drug war has destroyed lives and property, shredded the constitution, and distorted American education, health care, and even foreign policy. That's why, notes LEAP, fully 75 percent of Americans and 69 percent of police chiefs agree that the drug war has failed. Reason's Nick Gillespie talked with LEAP's Executive Director Neill Franklin, a retired major in the Maryland State Police. As Franklin explains, he was one of the most bellicose drug warriors around until a comrade was killed during an undercover operation. The best way, argues Franklin, we can pay tribute to his fallen friend - and all the other people whose lives have been laid waste by a war on drugs that has caused far more bad than good - is to turn away from prohibition and embrace regulation and control similar to that used for alcohol. Shot by Jim Epstein and Joshua Swain, who also edited. For more videos and information about drug policy, go to reason.com For more information on LEAP and to read "Ending the Drug War: A Dream Deferred," go to www.leap.cc

The movie doesn't waste any time. It immediately immerses the viewer into this possible future where digitized precognition becomes legitimate evidence for stopping crimes before they happen. As a precrime enforcement officer, Mr. Cruise scrubs the data, taking apart the imagery to narrow down the location of the suspect. It is a riveting combination of fast thinking and intense action, and I couldn't begin to imagine a better introduction for the story to follow.

RNC Eve: Police Seize Sustainable Living Bus

More at www.theuptake.org. Delyla Wilson tours the country with her family in the "PermiBus," a mobile permaculture demonstration. The group is in the Twin Cities to teach people about sustainable living practices. On the evening of Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 the bus was pulled over in what police eventually described as a routine traffic stop. After detaining the bus occupants, the police decided the bus was a commercial vehicle and impounded it for inspection, leaving the family and their guests stranded and homeless. The police allowed the Wilsons to remove their dogs and chickens, but were not allowed to retrieve their computers or any other belongings, including their daughter's shoes. This incident ended a day that saw multiple pre-RNC raids, which some legal observers believe is a coordinated pre-emptive effort by local and national law enforcement agencies to chill RNC protest action.
