Mariann Johansen-Ellis (you can do a course on this!) show you how to use multiple lino plates to overprint patterns and designs creating a layered fun linocut print in color. Using a "background" plate, a "middle ground" plate and on top your actual image, creating young, fun, wall-art, in a mix and match way. Great way of introducing color into your lino's, and a super way to start linocutting! Hablar de este grandioso interprete del bolero en su más estricto sentido es hacer referencia a quien supo vocalizar de una forma sencillamente particular el decir de sus canciones, sin tener una potente voz, pero si muy educada y que le supo sacar provecho en las tonalidades que resaltaren sus bellas interpretaciones, sus preciosos boleros, que nos legó como muestra de lo que la “VOZ ROMÁNTICA DEL BOLERO” podía realizar musicalmente hablando. Este es nuestro pequeño reconocimiento a tan extraordinario cantante de origen cubano: Severo Alberto Borges Abreu, de extracción campesina, nació en Batabanò, Cuba, el 8 de agosto de 1933 y falleció el 23 de agosto de 2003. Se desempeñaba como recogedor de berro y en los descansos, sus compañeros de faena le pedían que los complaciera con sus interpretaciones. A los 16 años de edad lo haría ya como profesional con la orquesta de JR González, en la que estuvo varios años. Después cantó con los conjuntos Universal, de Melena del Sur, Casablanca, Casino, Rumbavana y Saratoga. Con este último conjunto permaneció durante 20 años, antes de convertirse en solista. Lino Borges, bolerista por antonomasia, fue sepultado en su natal Batabanó, una pequeña localidad situada a 52 kilómetros de la capital cubana donde nació el 8 de agosto de 1933, localidad a la que siempre guardó fidelidad, por lo que su sepelio constituyó una sobrecogedora expresión de duelo popular. Sus últimas presentaciones fueron en el Salón Bolero (Dos Gardenias), en cuya <b>...</b>
