The two appear together again in 1981 on "The Harlen Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island". Bob Denver passed away in 2005 at the age of 70. This may be a pre-spoof of Mission:Impossible!

He and Steve Rossi were a comedy team in the 1960's. They "broke up" in 1969, but have reunited a couple of times, the last being in the early 1990's. Marty Allen currently performs with his wife on cruise ships.

This is the ending to The Sport, the first of five episodes in which Barbara Bain appears as Karen Wells. She then disappeared with no explanation. Diamond's answering service operator was played by Mary Tyler Moore. However, she was billed only as "Sam". She revealed her identity in a Leggs commercial and was subsequently fired. This episode aired in 1959.
