Top of the line open-source applications with custom Mint tools make for a very nice, albeit limited, user experience. I am a "Windows Power User" and today I am sharing with you TEN reasons why I switched to Linux. Over the years I have tried a number of Linux distributions. Improvements in the kernel and usability influenced my decision to change. If you think you would like to try Linux there are 2 distributions that are really easy to use and have great support on their website. Since these operating systems are based on Ubuntu, you can also get support on Ubuntu's forums as well.
