Steve Burns - Mighty Little Man
Legendary Steve Burns, his name may not ring a bell at first but if you watched the also legendary kids show Blues Clues, you will. After departing from Blue Clues, Burns pursued a solo career as an indie/alternative artist and a damn good one at that. He released his first album 'Songs for Dustmites' with help from Flaming Lips drummer Steven Drodz, bassist Michael Ivins, and producer David Fridmann. His work has garnered enough recognition even though releasing two albums. Mighty Little Man was the first single off his first release (Songs for Dustmites). His follow-up is called the Deep Sea Recovery Effort.

Cardiacs - Seaside Treats - Little Man and a House
My personal favourite track and video on the Seaside Treats video EP. Little Man and a House was filmed mostly on the stage of the Overground Theatre, Kingston, London. Alternating members of the band knelt at the front whilst Tim went mad at the back and then Tim sat on a chair in front whilst band members squabbled behind. That was it. Filmed 5 or 6 times to a backing track played a U-matic video tape because we had sussed by this time that this was the best way of getting the track to play at the same speed every time and make sure that it would all synch up in the edit. Soooo, after my birthday celebration kinda turned on its side & resurrected, I was sitting in a beanbag in the California night among all of my closest friends, and everyone started singing. My good friend walked up with a knowing smile and, out of his sweatshirt, pulled the tinyiest, sleepy looking puppy with a little ribbon in a bow on his neck! I've been asking for a pup of my own for years, so I guess you could say he was a birthday wish come true. We were thinking Presley, Archie, Spin, Thor, Berkeley, Quinn the Eskimo, Lennon, Charley, Sheldon, Benny, or just sticking with Little Man.. Can't wait to hear your thoughts! PS Puppies are not accessories. They have feelings, require time, and often keep you up reeeeallllyyy late before waking you up reeeealllllyyy early! If you're thinking of getting a dog, you should check out local animal shelters in your area. If you love pet but don't have the time and materials required to adopt, ask if you can volunteer at a local shelter or adoption clinic.
