O Dacie care a facut istorie si senzatie de multe ori. O Dacie care nu mai are nevoie de nici o introducere, desi eu o fac. Pur si simplu, SGM. O berlina care facea de rusine orice BMW care se mandreste ca are in jur de 150 cp. Nu o spunem noi, o spun cursele! O Dacie cum "aveau batranii care alergau pe coasta", spune Robert, proprietarul masinii. Dar cum de a reusit sa faca o Dacie turbo care merge cu 200 km/h? In afara de caroserie, care nu a scapat nici ea de modificari, nu am putea spune ce a ramas din vechea Dacie. Motorul are schimbata chiulasa cu una Crossflow de R5 Alpine. Carburatorul este Solex 32 DIS cu jicloare modificate pentru a avea amestecul de aer si combustibil bun (AFR) la 1,5 bari. Vibrochenul si volanta au fost usurate. Axa cu came este la 282 de grade. Turbosuflanta este KKK, iar intercoolerul de la un VW Golf 2. Pentru racirea uleiului, sa montat un radiator. Motoarele turbo functioneaza la temperaturi foarte mari, asa ca a fost imbunatatit sistemul de racire si lubrifiere a motorului, iar baia de ulei este cu antival.Aprinderea este electronica, cu senzor la volanta, de la un R5 Turbo. Pentru ca benzina sa faca fata turbinei, s-au montat doua pompe de benzina ce ridica presiunea la 7 bari. Pentru a termina cu minunile de sub capota, Robert a mai montat un blow-off de la Forge si un boost controler in masina, tot Forge. Traseul de admisie este din inox, la fel si cel de evacuare, de 50 mm. Cert este ca, intr-un final, masina dezvolta 130 de cp cu <b>...</b>

Interview with Edward R. Kuehn, WWII veteran. CCSU Veterans History Project.
Interview conducted by Jim Lyko. Edward R. Kuehn began his military career in the 122nd horse cavalry of the National Guard. When he began college at UCONN, he joined the ROTC. In 1941, after graduation from college, he was ordered to report for active service, seven months before the attack on Pearl Harbor. As a result, his unit, the 1st Infantry Division, 18th Infantry Regiment, was the first combat unit sent to Europe. They landed first in Scotland and then later on moved to England. The division's first battle was in Northern Africa, where Kuehn was sent to Oran and Arzeu. From there they prepared for the invasion of Sicily. During the interview Kuehn describes the battles and provides other anecdotes including stories about General Eisenhower and General Patton. Kuehn was wounded during combat in Italy, and was transferred to over 11 hospitals before reaching the United States again. He then became company commander of a post at Fort Bragg before his discharge in 1945. After his discharge he went to UCONN law school, and worked as a trial attorney and estate lawyer before his retirement.

At Sydney's Stadium Australia, in front of a world record 110000 people, the Australian and New Zealand Rugby teams played what many have called "the greatest game of Rugby ever played". After just eight minutes the All Blacks were leading by an unbelievable 24 to 0. Miraculously, the Wallabies came back and were leading 35 to 34 when, in the dying moments of the game, the great All Black winger Jonah Lomu scored the winning try.
