Kumu Hinaleimoana Wong of Halau Lokahi wrote this mele for the senior women of Kailua High, Mid Pac, Kamehameha and Halau Lokahi. Each January, the four schools produce a hula concert at KS Auditorium. Each year is different and unique. This year (2007) was dedicated to Uncle George Holokai and the senior women song was done by Kumu Hina. Enjoy, and let us know what you think!

Halau Lokahi
These are the grade school students dancing to a hula kahiko taught by their kumu hula, Kumu Hina. This performance was done at the final Ohana Nite of the school year, on May 21, 2009. What a wonderful and exciting performance this was and all the haumana enjoyed themselves. Family members, relatives and parents were their to cheer their keiki's on.
