Harry Potter - Face Down - Draco & Lucius Malfoy
Disclaimer: None of this is mine! None of it! Made purely for entertaining purposes, not for anything else. This video has no basis in canon, just a weird interpretation of some things in the movies. I noticed, looking through the movies one day, that the two times we see Draco and his father together, Lucius uses that snake cane to hit him. First, in the beginning of the second film, when he whacks his shoulder with it (from the impact and Draco's reaction, I would say it probably didn't hurt much). Secondly, at the Quidditch World Cup, where Lucius jabs him sharply in the chest (this time Draco actually looked pained by it, and a little anxious when he stood next to his father in the next shot). I realize that this wasn't part of the books (or maybe I just don't remember it), but I decided to use it to my advantage and create this video. Just as a note, it's from Harry's POV, speaking to Draco in the beginning, and after the first chorus briefly, and to Lucius from the first chorus and on. There is one instance where Harry is speaking to Dumbledore, trying to convince him that something is wrong and something needs to be done about it. Harry has figured out, over the years, what is going on between the two and the abusive relationship they have and is wishing he could give Draco a safer environment or offering one to him. The dreamlike, glowy scenes are of Draco's moments of true happiness over the years/the happy life he could have if he broke away from Lucius. There <b>...</b>

I guess this is my baby? Haha. Sadly, it's not that good. I didn't slave over it. I just had no motivation to finish it. At least not until I got some wonderful clips from Deathly Hallows. But I'm very fond of this. Basically, this mostly shows how Draco feels like a disappointment to Lucius. And how Lucius feels like a Disappointment to Narcissa. Who feels like a disappointment to Draco. What a mess! Perfect by Simply Plan, if you didn't know. It's an acoustic version. And pitch shifted. Eck. I love the Malfoy family- with all their complexity, whites and blacks (no pun intended, Narcissa xD)and grays. Despite their problems and skewed beliefs, they love each other.
