La profundización del deterioro social, derivado de una profunda desigualdad aupada no sólo por los partidos sino también por las corporaciones y las perversidades del paquetito neoliberal, fue abordada seguidamente en "Un mundo maravilloso"(2006), también protagonizada por Damián Alcázar que aborda la esperanza truncada del prometido Estado de Bienestar para con los desposeídos, desencadenando en un final poco alentador: la única elección posible para los pobres es matar.
