This is our funky saxophoned arrangement of Steve Lukather's "Party in Simon's Pants" (Candyman, 1994). Hope you enjoy it, we certainly had a blast playing it! There's more to come, so subscribe if you like it. Everything was recorded live in one take and one room (apart from the piano, as Frederic was out of town when we were recording the main tracks). We had never recorded all in one room before, so we were positively surprised when this experiment actually worked out quite well and mic bleeding didn't kill us. Steve Lukather from Toto was interviewed after the incredible show (which I was at) at London's Hammersmith Apollo on the 26th of June 2011 from their European leg of Toto's 2011 tour. This was the only date they played in th UK and it was sold out! They did not disappoint! A perfect day, the sun was shining, it was roasting hot and Toto were playing! Amen!
