"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" - composed by Ennio Morricone Playlist UOGB: tinyurl.com 3sat Kommentar: Sie sind Sensation auf der Insel und haben mit ihrem typisch britischen Humor und virtuoser Instrumentalanarchie auch das deutsche Publikum im Sturm erobert: das Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. Die acht Musiker aus England mögen Jazz, Skiffle und Punkrock, alles Musikrichtungen, die sich selbst nicht allzu ernst nehmen. Dafür ist die Ukulele das perfekte Instrument. Alle Musiker sind gleichermaßen virtuos wie komisch, sie sind allerdings auch der Meinung, dass es schwierig ist, mit einer Ukulele ernst auszusehen. Mit einer Lizenz zum Albern unterhält das Ukulele Orchestra seit 1985 sein Publikum auf der ganzen Welt und ist nun mit einer längeren Show im deutschen Fernsehen zu sehen.
