Jason Marsden Acting Reel

Born in Warwick, Rhode Island, the biggest little state in the Union. An appropriate origin for 5' 1" Marsden, whose 20 year accumulation of credits in the entertainment industry proves that good things do come in small packages. From soaps to sit-com, from feature film to voice over, in front of the camera and behind, Jason has led a most fortunate career. His first big break was peddling McPumpkin Happy Meals for the popular fast-food chain. He played one of several Alan Quartermain Jrs. on "General Hospital", his first recurring role, shortly followed by his first television series: "The Munsters Today", a revamped version of the original 60s series, starring John Schuck and Lee Meriwether, and Jason as "Little Eddie Munster". Three seasons later, "Munsters" ended but Jason continued, becoming a series regular on other such shows as "Eerie Indiana", "Almost Home", "Tom" (starring Tom Arnold), and joined the cast for the final two seasons of "Step by Step" (starring Suzanne Somers and Patrick Duffy). In the interim, he held recurring roles on "Boy Meets World", "Full House", and "Blossom" and guest starred on many others.

James Marsden singing in "Death At A Funeral"

Okay, so technically, this account is not only for fanvideos. I uploaded this because I am a huge fan of James Marsden (it all started because his singing was amazing in "Hairspray") and I missed this video on YouTube. Seriously, it's a shame that some actors can sing really well but never bring out an album or something. Actors such as James Marsden and Michael Arden. Oh, and if you don't know this movie, let's just say.. Oscar (James Marsden) is not very sane in this scene. He had stuff. Ah well, enjoy! =)

Head shave for Royal Marsden cancer campaign - Mands goes bald!

On Friday, I shaved off 7 years growth of long hair to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. I hope it will also increase awareness of hair loss and the impact it can have. My friends and family have been very very generous and so far we have raised over £1500 for this vital campaign. If you would like to hear more and/or make a donation, please click on the link: www.justgiving.com I would like to thank Ben Forrest, the fantastic hairdresser you can see in this clip (web.me.com and my fab boyfriend Dave West for being instrumental in the hair removal! Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and read my story.

Marsden Rail Volume 30 - Sheffield to North Derbyshire

The programme starts at Sheffield, with film taken at the now-closed Victoria Station between 1932 and 1979 showing a wide variety of steam traction, ranging from Great Central Railway and Great Northern Railway designs through to British Railways Britannia Pacifics. The unique 1500dc-electric system that linked Sheffield to Manchester via the Woodhead Route is also featured, with the BR-built electric locomotives shown at various locations on the tortuous line, which closed in 1981. Another electrically-powered transport system could also be found in Sheffield in the 1950s, in the form of the citys original tram system and a film made in 1958 from Beauchief to the city centre is an interesting reminder of the period. Jerrold Marsden on Discrete Mechanics and Optimal Control

Nokia Distinguished Lecture: Jerrold Marsden on Discrete Mechanics and Optimal Control Engineering and Control & Dynamical Systems California Institute of Technology Abstract: We and Nature try to optimize things all the time; find the shortest route to the grocery store, find the most efficient way to throw a discus, cats turning themselves over efficiently, etc. Optimal control is about finding control forces to perform optimal ways of carrying out a task. Many such systems are mechanical and special techniques for computing optimal controls in mechanics will be presented. These techniques are based on recent progress in discrete mechanics. The techniques will be illustrated by systems such as falling cats, reorienting a network of satellites, optimal space mission design, systems with constraints (such as a satellite with momentum wheels), helicopter dynamics, and efficient 2D and 3D robotic walkers. Bio: Jerrold Marsden is a professor of Control and Dynamical Systems at Caltech. He has done extensive research in the area of geometric mechanics, with applications to rigid body systems, fluid mechanics, elasticity theory, plasma physics, as well as to general field theory. His work in dynamical systems and control theory emphasizes how it relates to mechanical systems and systems with symmetry. He is one of the original founders in the early 1970's of reduction theory for mechanical systems with symmetry, which remains an active and much studied area of research today ...

Gerry & The Pacemakers - British Invasion 'It's Gonna Be All Right 1963-1965' Trailer

www.the-britishinvasion.com/ With the exception of the Beatles themselves, no other group dominated the early years of the British Invasion like Gerry & The Pacemakers. They were the first artists to have their first three singles top the British charts, and many of their songs are now beloved classics. Gerry & The Pacemakers: Its Gonna Be All Right 1963 1965 features 15 complete songs filmed between 1963 to 1965 and is the groups first official DVD release. Included are the classic How Do You Do It, I Like It and Im The One, timeless masterpieces Ferry Cross The Mersey and Dont Let The Sun Catch You Crying and the number one anthem Youll Never Walk Alone. In between the performances Gerry Marsden talks about the songs and tells the bands history in a new interview filmed at the Cavern Club in Liverpool exclusively for the DVD. Also telling the story is Bill Harry, the founder of the original Mersey Beat newspaper in Liverpool that reported the birth of British rock as it was happening. The DVD bonus section includes a new solo rendition of Ferry Cross The Mersey filmed at the Cavern Club as well as a history of Liverpools Mersey Beat scene as told by Bill Harry.
