THE ICE HOTEL
Images of rooms built of ice inside The Ice Hotel in Jukkasjarvi in the furthest north of Sweden. The photos are from December 2006 by Santo Magonza who also helped designing and building one of the rooms called "Hammadan". The Ice Hotel is an actual hotel and reservations are around 200 Euros per night, it is a very beautiful and popular hotel where residents usually stay for one night. The temperature in the rooms are around 6 degrees minus (Celcius) and the guests are provided with very warm sleeping bags. The breakfast is very luxurious.

Fucking Beauty is a song from Martin Rössel´s forthcoming solo album.Text & Music : Martin Rössel. The video consists of edited scenes from the modern classic "Dangerous Liasons", a film released in 1988 directed by Stephen Frears; starring John Malkovich, Glenn Close, Michelle Pfeiffer and Uma Thurman. The filnm is based on a play by Christopher Hampton which in turn is based on the classic eighteenth-century novel Les Liaisons dangereuses, by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.

MPP seminar #8 - Matt Statler - Imagining Courage in Organizations Matt Statler our last philosopher in this MPP spring series on Philosophies of Management will address the role of courage to undertake actions in organizations. Dr Matt Statler is currently Professor of Management and Organization at New York University´s Richman Family Program for Business Ethics and Social Impact. He was previously Director of Research at the New York University Centre for Catastrophe Preparedness and Response responsible for coordinating the research activities of the Center's multiple projects, as well as conducting original research focused on crisis and disaster management. Matt served from 2006-2008 as the Associate Director of NYU's International Center for Enterprise Preparedness, where he conducted research and coordinated special projects focused on how businesses can become more strategically prepared for disasters and other crises.

MPP Seminar #6 20100511 - Hans Ruin - "Past´s Present; on the history in contemporary conciousness" Hans Ruin gained his PhD in theoretical philosophy at Stockholm University 1994, with a dissertation on Heidegger, Enigmatic Origins. Tracing the Theme of Historicity through Heideggers Works. Since 1999 connected to Södertörns Högskola, with responsibility for shaping its Continental Philosophy program. Main research interests are Phenomenology, Hermeneutics, Nietzsche, Modern French Philosophy and Ancient Philosophy. Has published the anthology Fenomenologiska perspektiv (with Aleksander Orlowski, 1997), and a commented edition of Herakleitos Fragment (with Håkan Rehnberg, 1997), and Metaphysics, Facticity, Interpretation (with Dan Zahavi and Sara Heinämaa, 2003). Coeditor for the Swedish edition of Nietzsches Collected Writings. Hans is a member of the editorial board of the journals Sats, Hermeneutische Jahrbuch, Yearbook for Phenomenology, and coeditor of the series Södertörn Philosophical Studies. Swedish board member of the Nordic Society for Phenomenology . He has translated to Swedish Derridas Origin of Geometry and Schibboleth (with Aris Fioretos). He recently received a national grant for exploring past´s presence the transformation of historical consciousness in our times. As MPP has an important group doing business history and as, in consequence, the topic of links between narration and action are actual we look forward to this encounter.

The rhythm box/Micromoog/guitar arrangement is inspired by John Cale´s cover of the song from the album Helen of Troy in 1975 on Island Records.
