Meb Keflezighi lives and trains in Mammoth Lakes California. Meb, winner of the 2009 New York City Marathon defends his title on November 7th 2010. This is a video of Meb on a six mile run near Mammoth. Average speed, 12.5 mph. 4:40 miles .... Meb is a bronze medal winner in the marathon at the Rome Olympics. At the 2009 US Cross Country Championships, Meb finished first and in last year's ING New York City Marathon, a race with one of the most competitive fields ever assembled in the event's long history, Meb prevailed and became the first American to win the race since 1982. Meb recently founded the MEB Foundation, which will focus on promoting health, fitness, and education in the United States and in his native country of Eritrea. Take The Magic Step® caught up with Meb as he was beginning his taper before he returns to New York to defend his title. Meb won the Houston Marathon Olympic trials race with another PR. Meb will go to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

The Mammoth Track Club trains in Mammoth Lakes, California. Meb Keflezighi is training and in top form for the ING New York City Marathon on November 6th, 2011. Daylight savings time is over so the runners will get an extra hour of sleep. Meb trains with Dirk Addis, as his pace man. Average running speed 12mph. Other members of the Mammoth Track Club are distance coach Bob Larsen, Deena Drossin Kastor, Jen Rhines and Morgan Uceny. Mammoth is next to Yosemite National Park, The Ansel Adams & John Muir Wilderness. High altitude traing has proven to benefit distance runners.

Die Kaltumformung von Bandmaterial stellt sehr hohe Ansprüche an eine Presse. Die MEB tmdpress schliesst eine Lücke zwischen dem Fein-schneiden und dem konventionellen Stanzen. Die tmdpress besticht durch ihren extrem verwindungssteifen Pressen-grundkörper. Dieses herausragende Merkmal wird durch den extrem stabilen Pressenaufbau erreicht. Die daraus resultierenden geringen Durchbiegewerte vom Tisch ermöglichen bei der Werkzeugauslegung sehr enge Schnittspalttoleranzen. Diese kleinen Toleranzen bewirken einen hohen Glattschnittanteil am Stanzteil, welcher dem des Fein-schneiden gleichgesetzt werden kann. Die spezielle Bewegungskurve des Stössels ist ein weiterer Grund für eine hohe Präzision der Stanzteile. Da sich der Stössel gegen UT sehr langsam bewegt und im UT über 45° still steht, kann das Material besser und kontrollierter fliessen. Dies führt zu besserer Teilegeometrie und Materialstruktur.
