Mellisa Hollingsworth - 2006 Olympic Bronze Medalist - Skeleton
Mellisa is one of Molson Fund a Champion athlete recipient. Mellisa's World Cup season leading up to the 2006 Olympic Winter Games redefined the term "hot streak". After lengthy discussions with her coach during the off-season, and mapping out a new competitive strategy, the 27-year-old from Eckville, Alberta, kicked off the pivotal season by winning her first World Cup in 10 years of racing, and became the first athlete in the history of the sport to never finish out of the top three for the rest of the year. Mellisa headed to Torino for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, where she slid to a historic bronze-medal finish, after winning the Overall World Cup title. Gutsy, courageous and determined, Mellisa is proud of this huge accomplishment, but her competitive goals are not yet achieved. Mellisa is poised to win gold at home in 2010.

I am testing various runners from different events, yet getting similar feedback. I might be onto something. You think you know, but you have noooo idea. NO it is not kinesiotex and it is definitely not athletic tape. I used kinesiotex as a band-aid to simply cover up what I did. Top secret stuff. Not sure the world is ready for this one...

Rhythmic gymnastics is one of Kaylees favorite areas she competes in. This was Kaylee's first year competing in rhythmic gymnastics. The entire year she competed in rhythmic gymnastics as a 6 year old. Within her region, she placed first in all events and first all round at every competition.. At nationals she competed in the age group of 6 &,7 year olds and got the gold medal in ball, silver medal in floor and bronze medal in hoop. Overall she got the title of silver medatlist. Out of 91 girls that came to nationals (at the ESPN Rise Girls Showcase at Disney World in Orlando) from age 6 to Juniors she got the 6th highest score.
