WHO: Mental Health

One in four people will suffer a mental, neurological, or substance use disorder at some point in their life; yet many cannot get access to basic medicines or basic mental health care. The mental health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) asserts that with proper care, psychosocial assistance and medication, tens of millions could be treated for depression, schizophrenia, and epilepsy and prevented from suicide even where resources are scarce. Video: Mental Health Abuse. My Mental Hospital Visit & Abuser Dr. Carmen Teresa Delgado Exposed.

Posted by a victim of mental health abuse to expose the truth of this matter to anyone who will listen, and to educate the public first hand on how these inhumane people operate. Preferable before further suffering and thousands of dollars are lost to healthcare fraud, corrupted psychiatrists, social workers, doctors and hospital wards. (Regardless of my venting, I stay objective throughout.) It is my hope that people who live outside of psychology textbooks and in the world of reality can cast reason on this by offering their thoughts and comments below. If I did not capture this footage and was not able to make this video, I would be living worse in anger and regret (which I'm confident Teresa was expecting...) I am SO GLAD I got CVSL technology passed everybody. It exposes, tells all, and it's all good. Wish I did this sooner, but life is great now!! :D PS Identities and faces of patients were edited out, but they'll probably use "privacy issues" as a reason to remove this video to further conceal the abusers shown here.

"Primal mind: nutrition & mental health" by Nora Gedgaudas

SLIDES: www.slideshare.net ABSTRACT: Learn about the myth of "the mind-body connection" and how diet can powerfully impact mental health and cognitive performance, including a discussion of strategies for improving memory and cognitive function at any age using "Primal principles" and how to slow (maybe even reverse) the process of brain aging. We'll also address common issues like chronic anxiety, depression and ADD/ADHD, what modern day mechanisms might be at play and how a Primal diet and certain added nutrients can better address mental, emotional and cognitive issues. Few individuals seem to make the connection between physical and mental health. As long as one is able to find one's self above ground in the morning, get up out of bed and power through a work day it is commonly assumed that one is healthy. Being thin and active in most people's minds is tantamount to good health (or just not being "sick"), even while the same person may also suffer anxiety related issues, depression or have trouble mentally focusing at work or at school. We all see the world through the lens that is our blood sugar (the extent to which one might be dependent on this), our hormones and neurotransmitters and yet forget that it is our diets that must entirely supply the raw nutrients needed for these critically influential physiological catalysts. Mental health issues and cognitive challenges are nearly ubiquitous today. According to the work of respected nutritional pioneers such as ...

OCD And Me "May Is Mental Health Month"

So May is mental health month... Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, OCD, is an anxiety disorder and is characterized by recurrent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and/or repetitive behaviors (compulsions). Repetitive behaviors such as handwashing, counting, checking, or cleaning are often performed with the hope of preventing obsessive thoughts or making them go away. Performing these so-called "rituals," however, provides only temporary relief, and not performing them markedly increases anxiety. Signs & Symptoms People with OCD may be plagued by persistent, unwelcome thoughts or images, or by the urgent need to engage in certain rituals. They may be obsessed with germs or dirt, and wash their hands over and over. They may be filled with doubt and feel the need to check things repeatedly. Treatment Effective treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder are available, and research is yielding new, improved therapies that can help most people with OCD and other anxiety disorders lead productive, fulfilling lives.

Dr. John Breeding, Ph.D. psychologist discusses how mental disorders are created by the American Psychiatric Association and listed in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorders.
