Locode Tutorial - A Micro Navigation Tool for the Android platform

Locode is an application for Android that, using GPS allows users to specify locations in the continental United States to within 3 meters. Using a simple eight-digit code, users can send their location to anyone running the Locode app, allowing their position to then be navigated to. Used in conjunction with www.locode.com, Locode becomes a powerful tool for specifying and then navigating to landmarks that do not exist on other base maps.

BMW Micro Navigation - Autoline Daily 418

As workers across the country get restless, Chinese manufacturers are starting to embrace robots and automation to reduce the number of people needed. AT Kearney reports that US new-car sales could be a lot better if more consumers had easy access to auto loans. BMW is working on a new research project in the field of "micro navigation," a new way to help drivers and pedestrians get where they need to go. All that and more, plus a look at some of the advanced human-machine interfaces Visteon is developing.

Tiny Brite Lights added realism to my Parkzone P-51 with "Machine Gun" Lights!

When I saw the ad for these "Tiny Brite Lights" ( flightlights.net ) in Model Aviation Magazine ( www.modelaircraft.org ), I knew I had to have them. The wings are too thin to put wires in. I hide them underneath and in the dark no one can see them anyway. LOL The worst planes look great in the dark! I have since made tiny windows so light shines out top and bottom and relocated all the wires. This was just a quick trial. I have purchased every Parkzone micro plane from the Cessna to the new J-3 cub. I already put other lights on the cub, but these looked perfect for the P-51. I would prefer a red blinking tail light, versus the white strobe, for pitch dark flying and staying oriented, but the lights are so bright, it was easy to fly. The whole set weighs only 1.1 gram! There are 2 groups of 3 white "Machine Gun" lights, a "strobing" white tail light, and red green wing tip lights. They easily installed in the DSM2 Receiver, as it is all wired with a plug too. Truly "Plug and Play". Taped onto the wings of the plane, the installation was a snap. Congratulations goes to those folks at TinyBriteLights.com for really coming through with a great product.
