98' Supra MKIV GT45R Project
My 1998 Supra MKIV TT, swapped GT45R 80mm single turbo, quick list of mods is a Greddy FMIC, TiAL 50mm BOV, TiAL 50mm Wastegate, Apexi N1 Evolution 3.7 inch racing exhaust no cat. Apexi Boost Control, Greddy Turbo Timer, AEM Standalone ECU, AEM UEGO Wideband, 19" Axis Hiro Hyper Silver Rims Front-8.5" Rear-10.5". Dunlop SP Sport 9000 Z-Rated Tires. HKS GD Pro Triple Plate Clutch, too many other part's to name. The car was in the garage at the time because its getting a better fuel system, 1000cc injectors, another walbro fuel pump etc etc. And yes the car is DIRTY! Its been in a garage for a few days. Its a work in progress I am upgrading everything slowly but surely.

When I removed the knob I noticed that the bulb had just come lose and hadn't actually burnt out. If you have trouble removing the bulb use some electrical or duct tape and wrap the ends of your needle nose pliers to give a softer grip so you dont break the bulb.

DIY: Volkswagen MKIV Power Steering Rack Replacement
How to replace the power steering rack on a VW Golf/Jetta MK4. Tools needed: -jack -stands or blocks -ratchet and metric socket set Basic procedure: -jack vehicle up -remove wheels -center steering -remove tie rods -place jack under sub-frame -remove lower engine mount -loosen sub-frame and steering rack bolts -remove sub-frame bolts and lower sub-frame 2-3 inches -remove power steering lines -remove bolt in universal joint at the end of the steering column behind the pedals inside the vehicle -remove power steering rack bolts -lower sub-frame and remove power steering rack -swap heat shield and rubber grommet from old steering rack to new steering rack -install tie rod on new steering rack -installation in reverse -fill power steering reservoir with fluid -start vehicle and turn steering fully left to right to bleed system -inspect for leaks -replenish reservoir when needed until full -take car in for a steering alignment

The M1911 is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, and recoil-operated handgun chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. John M. Browning designed the firearm which was the standard-issue side arm for the United States armed forces from 1911 to 1985. The M1911 is still carried by some US forces. It was widely used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Its formal designation as of 1940 was Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911 for the original Model of 1911 or Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911A1 for the M1911A1, adopted in 1924. The designation changed to Pistol, Caliber .45, Automatic, M1911A1 in the Vietnam era.[1] In total, the United States procured around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols in military contracts during its service life. The M1911 was replaced by the M9 pistol as the standard US sidearm in the early 1990s. The M1911 is the best-known of John Browning's designs to use the short recoil principle in its basic design. Besides the pistol being widely copied itself, this operating system rose to become the preeminent type of the 20th century and of nearly all modern centerfire pistols. It is popular with civilian shooters in competitive events such as USPSA, IDPA, International Practical Shooting Confederation, and Bullseye shooting. Compact variants are popular civilian concealed carry weapons, because of the design's inherent slim width and the power of the .45 ACP cartridge.

Panzer MK IV
Panzer IV is the common name of a medium tank that was developed in the late 1930s by Germany and used extensively in World War II. The official German designation was Panzerkampfwagen IV (abbreviated PzKpfw IV) and the tank also had the ordnance inventory designation SdKfz 161. The Panzer IV was the workhorse of the German tank corps, being produced and used in all theatres of combat throughout the war. The design was upgraded repeatedly to deal with the increasing threats from enemy forces. As the Panzer IV was intended to fill an anti-infantry combat role, early models were fitted with a low-velocity 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24 gun, firing high-explosive shells. After the Germans encountered heavy tank designs such as the Soviet KV-1, the Panzer IV Ausf. F2 and G were armed with the high-velocity 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/43 tank gun. Later IV G models, and all subsequent Panzer IVs, were armed with the longer 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/48 tank gun. The gun could be manually elevated between -10° to +20°, with the turret, under hand or electrical power, have a full 360° traverse. The gunner aimed through an articulated telescope with a limited 25 ° view and 2.5x magnification. The German army considered the gun to be effective up to 1000 m, expecting 70% first-shot hits at this range and 100% hits at 500 m. Firing at extreme range, 3000 m, 4% of shots were expected to hit (in controlled tests only 17% of shots struck their target at 3000 m as opposed to 99% at 1000 m)

Just discovered this in some old family film transfers. Shot by my Dad, my brothers and I that day at the race. Bruce McLaren and Mario Andretti had a 12 lap lead when the checkers waved that night. The radical design of the Chaparal was way ahead of its time. 58 cars started the race that featured 6 Ford GT's, led by the 7 Liter engine equipped factory prototype. The yellow No. 1 MkIV was the car to beat and the class of the field and that car went on to finish 4th at Le Mans later that year . 2.0 Liter Factory Porsche 910 was one of their most distinctive cars and they prided themselves by doing more with less.

The MkIV Martini Henry started out life as a Martini-Enfield. Mark IV rifles presented quite a few external changes to the other models. The changes came whilst the the British were experimenting with the .402 calibre Enfield-Martinis. Large numbers of Enfield-Martinis had been produced at a time when the .303 Lee-Metford was just about to be issued and the .455 Martini was still in wide service. Thus most of the Enfield-Martinis were converted to Martini-Henrys to ease logistical problems.
