Mark Munoz MMA Conditioning for UFC 102


This is one of the early versions of my fight-specific training that I did with Mark Munoz in preparation for UFC 102. We started doing these 2 x 5 min rounds, but worked our way up to 4 x 6 min rounds prior to his fight. There is no athlete I ever trained that was in better shape for his/her sport than Munoz was for this fight. He won by decision after 3 rounds, so conditioning definately played a factor in his ability to perform and go the distance.
