Google+ for Android version 2.6 video walkthrough

MobileBurn.com - Today, Google released version 2.6 of the Google+ app for Android smartphones and tablets. The new version brings over the redesigned Stream layout that we first saw on the iOS version that was updated a few weeks ago, as well as new features like the ability to start Hangouts from a mobile device and edit existing posts while on the go. While the new version of the app is very pretty and aesthetically pleasing, we find that it is not as fast or easy to use as earlier versions, and that's not something we are terribly happy with. You can download Google+ for Android from the Google Play Store now. More info: www.mobileburn.com

Are you waiting for the Galaxy Nexus? pdog.ws It's an epic throwdown between two hot T-Mobile Android phones! Aaron pits T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II against the HTC Amaze 4G. The Galaxy S II is the third version of the iconic device to land in the United States, and it offers a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 CPU, 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, a front-facing camera, 1850 mAh battery (which is the largest out of the three US Galaxy S II variants), and Android 2.3.5 with TouchWiz 4.0. It retails for $229.99 with a two-year contract. The HTC Amaze 4G, on the other hand, sports a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording (which HTC claims is the best camera on any smartphone), a front-facing shooter, 1730 mAh battery, and Android 2.3.4 with HTC's Sense 3.0. It's housed in a beautiful metal body, and is available at T-Mobile for $259.99. The Amaze 4G is a bit more expensive, but the build quality is much better and the camera is impressive. Windows Phone 7.5 Mango: Lots of improvements, no 'killer app' yet

But while there are a lot of improvements to the easy to use, intuitive Windows Phone software, there is still room to grow, Olivarez-Giles says. As much as we would have liked to have seen the higher-end Lumia 800 come first, there is a bit to like about the Lumia 710, including its fast performace, decent camera, and rock-bottom price. The 710's weak points are in its LCD display, which is not as good as the AMOLED options from the competition, and the lower quality feel of the materials used in its construction.
