The Monitors were an Australian studio group formed in 1980 and fueled largely by the creative genius of established music producer Mark Moffatt and advertisiing guru Terry McCarthy. Moffatt had already worked with the likes of the Saints and would later collaborate in the studio with Mondo Rock and Mental As Anything among others. The Monitors scored their biggest hit with a question, what will we be 'Singing In The 80s', quite an appropriate question given its time of release, mid 1980. I thought it was time to dip into the Motown collection, so here's one from 1969. The Monitors only released one single on Motown in the US, and none at all in the UK, so this track comes from their 1969 album Greetings!...We're The Monitors.

This is the title track of our album by The Monitors, released in 1990. This song is one of my own personal favourite songs of all time, and I cut it twice, first on The Monitors, and later on Paul Young. It originally came out as a jazz instrumental by Hugh Masekela, and then the utterly timeless fabulous vocal version by The Friends Of Distinction, on RCA, a soul record that's also synonymous with the whole late 1960s flower power movement. I just had to cut it on The Monitors. To my mind, it seemed the perfect song to showcase the amazing harmony abilities of this wonderful Motown group. The original line up of the Monitors at Motown consisted of Richard Street as lead singer, with Warren Harris, Maurice Fagin, Sandra Fagin, and Hershel Hunter. When we got them reformed for Motorcity, Richard Street was with The Temptations, and Sandra Fagin had passed away, but we succeeded in getting the other three back together. They brought in Smokey Robinson's nephew, Darryl Littlejohn, as lead singer and added a girl singer called Cathy, who was a Detroit policewoman. One of my treasured memories was getting Wanda Rogers of The Marvelettes back to performing live, at the Pontchartrain concert in Detroit, with the Monitors backing her up, all dressed in sharp white tuxedos. Warren Harris, who has now passed away, was the comedian of the Motorcity Project, and had us all in stitches constantly... If you turn on your LCD monitor and strange things happen; for instance, all you have to look at is an empty/black screen, or it takes longer and longer for your LCD monitor to start, or the picture is unreadable, replacing the capacitors will probably help restore your LCD monitor back to normal. This video shows how to take apart the LCD monitor, examine the capacitors, remove the capacitors, insert new ones, solder the capacitors in, and put the LCD monitor back together. If you're in the market for new monitor, I would highly recommend taking a look at the Dell U2410 24" UltraSharp Widescreen Monitor. IMO it's a great all around monitor, with 1920 X 1200 resolution and a response time of 6ms. This monitor was built with the enthusiast in mind and has all the connections you could possible want, including HDMI and Display Port. The only regret I have is I wish it would have came with a remote control to navigate through all it's different modes. If I had to rate this monitor I would give it 8 out of 10. If you do purchase this monitor be sure to get Rev A01, as Rev A00 had some minor issues that have been addresses in the new rev. If you do own this model already and have Rev. A three disc collection of 100 videos of the former classic artists of Motown. The Detroit Sound lives again. Released on Wienerworld - 19th November 2007. A wonderful three disc set of all the videos from the classic former Motown stars. Each disc contains thirty three/four songs at around three minutes something, per track. An approximate running time of almost two hours per disc. The selling point is the 100 songs. We have been systematically editing them over the last six months to promote my work on YouTube and MySpace and people have been begging for them on a DVD. www.ncix.com For 3D gaming, this is about as good as it gets for a 24" monitor. At this point I really can't see myself recommending a 3D Vision V1 monitor compared to the V2 monitors with Lightboost. V1 glasses are still fine though and they work awesome with Lightboost.

iRacing.com running 5 monitors at 9600x1080 or 10020x1080(AMD bezel compensation) using a 6870 Eyefinity 6 Edition video card. Right now I have "Render 3 Screens Separately" enabled, but the angle doesn't look right on the outer monitors. This will be fixed when iRacing adds a "Render 5 Screens Separately" feature. Graphics are turned down to level 3 and I don't believe I have any shadows on. FPS was pretty consistent at 84, but it did drop down to the 60s at times. I didn't notice any stuttering or tearing.

Phil has worked with reptiles most of his life and runs, in my opinion an awesome store with tons of fantastic animals. Samsung 226bw Monitor Repair and Info Guide Blinking Flickering No Picture Samsung 226bw monitors have a bad flaw, they used CapXon as their vendor for capacitors, most of these capacitors are made to lower specifications and lasts only about 2000 hours or 3 years of regular useage and the warranty is exactly 3 years. If you have the tools you only need about 3 capacitors which are only a few cents and you can easily fix this yourself with ease. Usually it is always the same 3 i believe C110-113 which are the 2X (820uf / 25v) and 1X (330uf / 25v) You will need your own solder iron, fresh rosin core solder, and a butterknife. The soldersucker doesnt do so well since the ammount of solder they use is quite small. This is my first Vid and sorry about no autofocus on the flip ultra, my next videos will use a better video capture device.
