Rejean Neron's Safety Sphere is a protective suit which inflates to a man-sized sphere, completely enveloping the rider in the event of a crash. It inflates in five hundredths of a second, cushioning the rider for any impact (except perhaps those into giant spikes) and consists of a loose fitting coverall suit comprised of two layers of fabric. Neron explains: "The outer layer is made up of a highly resistant parachute type material. The inner layer is made up of a thin, moderately elastic synthetic material. In a collision situation, the passengers are thrown from the motorcycle, the cord connecting them to the motorcycle seat disconnects, the electrical voltage plummets, and the electronic circuit processor inside the belt buckle housing of each occupant connects the 9 volt battery to an electric igniter in the back housing of their respective suits." This triggers the firing of an explosive canister of propellant called nitrocellulose. Neron is a motorcycling idealist who believes bikes could play a massive role in alleviating congestion in 21st century cities, if only riders' fear of crashing's consequences could be reduced to those of the prang-happy car driver. He's been working on the Safety Sphere for many years, through 'countless' iterations and is now looking for backing to bring the design to production. A few years ago my brother decided to make his 350 cc motor bike fly. A flyer of light aircraft and an amateur inventor, he was frustrated by the fact that, if he flew anywhere, he had no transport at the other end. So using only parts purchased at the local hardware store and an old hang glider wing, he rigged up the Sky Bike. The wings, propeller and other modifications take about 10 minutes to put on the bike. After the flight, they can then be removed just as quickly allowing the flyer to ride off on the motor bike. This video is of the Sky Bike's maiden flight, in Western Australia.

I also give the engine attention like shaving the heads (more compression, Port timing and balancing, I seal the electronics, and weld up the exhaust along with High temp paint (China don't like to send any thing but chrome and they've been cut off from chromed pipe exporting so they put any old black paint on the exhaust so while I have them out I check the catalyst for correct flow and replace exhaust when needed.. Then use 1000deg farenheit gloss paint on them. Then I check the ports and clean them out. I Install an variety of options like Oldy Springers that I get by the dozen by the old manufacturer, Drum front hub brakes by Sturmey Archer I lace with 14 or 12 ga Lance Armstrong SAPIM New Belgium Spokes, I have heavy Chromed Steel Fenders, Nice Mirror Variety, heavy rear matching wheel laced with 12 ga on a HighStop KT Heavy duty Hub, Thorn Prooof Tubes. more Too!

This is the astonishing moment a daredevil motorcyclist cheats death after smashing head-on into an oncoming car during a disastrous stunt. The rider is filmed pulling off a series of impressive stunts with a fellow biker at the Beto Carrero World theme park in south-east Brazil when the performance goes horribly wrong. After revving his motorbike with his colleague at one end of the arena in front of a large crowd, the biker puts his foot down and speeds towards three oncoming red cars with the intention of dramatically weaving between them. STORY: It's certainly a head-turner. Whizzing around the streets of Berlin - this is the "ErockIT". Half-bicycle, half-motorbike, Stefan Gulas has been working on his invention for the past four years: [Stefan Gulas, ErockIT Inventor]: "It's a motorbike and in a certain sense it's also a bicycle, because the motorbike works as a bicycle. So you have to pedal in order to travel forwards. The pedals act as a type of accelerator. So you don't have an accelerator on the handlebars but you have to pedal. And the quicker you pedal the faster the motor goes." And this pedaling also charges up the bike's battery. Gulas is convinced the ErockIT - which can travel up to 80 kilometers, or almost 50 miles an hour, is a transport revolution. [Stefan Gulas, ErockIT Inventor]: "The thing I'm most proud of is that we've managed to make a cool electric vehicle. There are lots of vehicles with petrol engines that are cool - you just need to go and take a look at them, Ducatis or cars like Porsches and Ferraris. They're cool vehicles, but they all have petrol engines." The bike may have the looks. But it seems people don't quite know what to make of it. [Martin Alridge, Likes ErockIT]: "From the speed, I'd say it's a motorbike, but he pedals it, so it's a push bike. So it's a bicycle. But an amazing thing, absolutely amazing. I want one."
