The first guy was later found still wondering the train station and was taken into custody, later to be sentenced to 10 years in prison.

A man who mugged two women, one in her 90s, as they walked arm-in-arm to church will spend 6-15 years in the New Hampshire State Prison. Joseph Audet, 23, of Manchester, was sentenced in Hillsborough County Superior Court after he plead guilty to two counts of robbery and second-degree assault. Manchester Police Lt. Jim Soucy, whose voice can be heard here, said an alert security officer at the nearby Currier Museum of Art on Beech Street caught the entire attack on video. A man has been charged over the mugging of a Malaysian student after he was attacked by rioters in east London. The robbery of Asyraf Haziq, 20, after he was approached as he sat on the ground bleeding in Barking on Monday, was caught on camera. Police said Reece Donovan, of Cross Road, Chadwell Heath, Romford, had been charged with robbery. Danny Savage reports.

London riots mugging victim recovering in hospital
A 20-year-old student who was violently mugged during the London riots on Monday is recovering in hospital. A student who was mugged by yobs who pretended to help him during the London riots has described how he was attacked. Cyclist Ashraf Haziq was seen bleeding in the street after being punched in the jaw in broad daylight less than a month after arriving in Britain. A gang of hooded youths appeared to help him to his feet but then quickly rifled through his rucksack, stealing his mobile phone and wallet, in Barking, east London. Ashraf, from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, has relived his ordeal from his hospital bed during a visit from a friend who filmed their conversation. "They threatened to stab me, they told me they had knives," Ashraf is seen telling his pal in the footage, posted on YouTube. "Some of them were quite young, maybe still in primary school. They had their hoods on and demanded my bicycle." As Ashraf waits in hospital for an operation on his broken jaw, the Prime Minister has said the attack left him "disgusted". David Cameron added: "When we see the disgusting sight of a young man with people pretending to help him while they are robbing him, it is clear that there are things badly wrong with our society."

Wed Feb 23 01:22pm EST Vanderbilt mascot gives Commodores fan a bloody nose By Jeff Eisenberg Whether it's the Ohio Bobcat putting Brutus the Buckeye in a hammerlock or Oski the Bear brawling with the Stanford Tree, mascot fights are an annual source of hilarity in college athletics. It crosses the line, however, when one of the big foam-headed monsters goes into the stands and roughs up a fan. That's what happened Tuesday night when Vanderbilt mascot "Mr. C" went into the student section, put one Commodores fan in a mock chokehold and then accidentally struck him in the face with a right hook hard enough to draw blood. Maybe the mascot was trying to rev up the crowd and got a little overzealous? Maybe the student provoked the mascot by taunting him earlier in the game? Either way, "Mr. C" appeared mortified when the student needed a towel to stop the bleeding after taking the punch. A bloody nose and a wounded ego weren't even the worst indignities the Vanderbilt fan endured Tuesday night. Once he cleaned up and returned to his seat, he had to suffer through watching rival Tennessee rally from a double-digit deficit and complete a season sweep of the Commodores with a 60-51 road victory. I was walking in a store the other day and saw a 'breakfast cookie'. Cookies for breakfast, it's about time. I didn't need an excuse before, but now I have a real one.
