June 25, 1973 - John Dean testifies about his reactions to G. Gordon Liddy's plans of campaign espionage to combat political opponents. Having gone to prep school with the son of Barry Goldwater, he was a close friend of the senator and his family. Dean was subsequently employed as the chief minority counsel to the Republican members of the United States House Committee on the Judiciary. A National Commission on the Reform of Federal Criminal Law was created in 1967: Dean was appointed its associate director. Dean volunteered to write position papers on crime for Nixon's presidential campaign in 1968. The following year he became an Associate Deputy at the office of the Attorney General of the United States in the Nixon administration. In July, 1970 became counsel to the president, after the previous holder of this post John Ehrlichman became the president's chief domestic adviser. Dean pled guilty to obstruction of justice before Watergate trial judge John Sirica on November 30, 1973. He admitted supervising payments of "hush money" to the Watergate burglars, notably E. Howard Hunt, and revealed the existence of Nixon's enemies list. On August 2, 1974, Sirica handed down a sentence of one to four years in a minimum-security prison. How to avoid being mugged.
Muggings for mobile phones in the UK is rife. You only have to read the news to see it happens in your town. Going about your daily business and some slag jumps out, shows you a blade and demands your mobile off you. Or your milk and bread and beer. Not in my case. As night falls I take to the streets in my GP5. Guaranteed to put the fear of God into your would be assailant or mugger. It's time to take the streets back people. The GP5 with filter would also be an extremely effective solution against catching colds from the general public sneezing all over the place in shops such as Sainsbury's and Marks&Spencers.
