I am not certified in any kind of diet field or exercise field!!!!! Please take this as pure opinion and what works for me. Sorry this is not a funny video. But I get asked this constantly and my fingers are tired from typing it. Spring Cleaning Your Diet: 4 Day Reset


After returning home from a fabulously indulgent vacation at Disney World a couple of weeks ago, I decided I needed a healthy eating cleanse to get back on track. I decided to do my own version of the Tone It Up 7 Day Slim Down, which I call my 4 Day Reset. I basically eat extremely clean for 4 days and cut out all sugar, most dairy, and a lot of starches & carbs. I adapted this from the Tone It Up Diet Plan, which I have been a member of since last spring. I decided to share a typical day of how I eat on the 4 Day Reset with you. Please remember that I am not a health or medical professional and that you should always consult a true expert (like tour doctor or nutritionist) before embarking on a new diet plan or fitness regimen. This is a video of me giving some tips on eating healthier. I am not a trained professional and I am only giving my own advice and what works for me. Hope you enjoy. -Instead of eating one or two big meals a day- try to eat 5-6 small meals a day if you can (Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, Snack) -Never Starve yourself - if you are hungry - grab an apple or a banana or some nonfat yogurt- don't deprive your body of what it is asking for -Always eat within an hour of walking up to give yourself the energy it needs for the start of the day and remember to eat every 2-3 hours after that -Protein thats great for you: White fish, Salmon, Chicken, Lean Beef - Broiled Grilled or Steamed but never fried or loaded in unhealthy toppings For people who do not eat meat Protein source from: -Beans, Nuts, Yogurt (nonfat, little or no sugar), Peanut Butter -Veggies that are great for you: Asparagus, Broccoli, Carrots, Celery, Onions, Spinach, Green Beans, Tomatoes, Sweet Potatoes etc. -Fruits that are great for you: Blueberries, Strawberries, Apples with Skin, Grapes, Grapefruit, Peaches, Pears, Green red or yellow bellpeppers, Plums etc. -Limit Salt - use pepper instead -Water intake - divide your weight in half - that is how many ounces you need for the day - remember that people usually need more water if they are working out -If you eat salads avoid more than 2 tablespoon of dressing and stay away from cheese crutons etc - instead add veggies and nuts -Avoid canned soups if <b>...</b>

My FACEBOOK fans requested this RELOAD! :D www.facebook.com As promised, here is some insight into my Pescetarian diet: Including, but not limited to... Breakfast During the weekdays, I eat a quick breakfast which may consists of a soft boiled egg, an English muffin and water (followed by unsweetened green tea or coffee during my work week). If I want to eat something RAW, I'll grab a piece of fruit or Activia yogurt (with live cultures) from the fridge. I do not eat yogurt that doesn't boast live cultures. Other times I'll have like 2 cups of oatmeal with dried fruit, butter and brown sugar. I like to keep my breakfast simple and small but I hardly EVER skip breakfast. Water is the most important part of my breakfast though. I drink about 16 oz of water with my breakfast alone. On the weekends, when I have more time, I'll prepare an omelette with feta cheese and spinach or "eggs florentine" which is one of my FAV breakfast items! It consists of sauteed spinach, a single poached egg, hollandaise sauce, atop a toasted english muffin. Sometimes I add sauteed mushrooms to the spinach. It's the BEST! I love to make lightly seasoned, diced potatoes with my eggs. I never eat any sort of meat for breakfast. Healthy is essentially the key to looking your best. - Meaning, good digestive system, You wont be sluggish. Here is the list of foods I normally eat within those days. Just to give you an idea. -Oatmeal with thawed frozen blueberries + honey -Ham Sandwhich - cucumbers, romane lettuce, whole grain toast -Activa yogurt w/ slices of fruit on the side -Avacado or banana sandwhich + organic peanut butter -Salad (lettuce, cucumbers, avacado, grapes, apples) + greek vinegaratte -Apple crisp (whole grain) with real dried fruit -Salmon + veg + non pan fried noodles -Natural Chicken rice soup -Cereal with Soymilk + omega 3. -Wholegrain blueberry muffin -Snack=fruit. mostly apples or oranges. -Vegetable chips with less sodium. (expensive) try making it yourself. -Chocolate protein shake + soymilk -Wholegrain snack bars : ) Im not an expert, remember to check out the facts, this is just what I do.. and i know it will inspire someone else, because I too have been motivated by other people.
