my second cover:) Finally I got my pod XT and an HD Sony handy cam for HQ sound and HQ video I was inspired by naruto so I covered this song unfortunately I couldn't find any tabs so I had to figure it out by myself. Psychedelic Bass Effects Jam in the morning
Sorry if the audio quality sucks haha! So, over the past year ive been messing with effects along with clean playing as well. I recently got myself a copy of Guitar Rig 3. i have been having fun ever since. The sounds on that program is something i can never get on both my GT6B (which is now discontinued and which i think i might sell now for some floor pedals) and my POD X3. Anyways, I was tweaking with the psychedelay settings on guitar rig 3 when i came up with this. I hooked the USB For my POD X3 to guitar rig 3 so i can run them both on my effects loop and run my PODs effects as well. Now, there are a few crackling noises that come out of my bass so im sorry for that, havent really gotten the time to get it fixed and every time i tighten up the nut, it seems to get loose. and it aint the best of my playing but sure hell is fun to mess with guitar rig 3 and my POD at once. Anyways im gonna work on getting some actual clean bass playing pretty soon and some jams with a few friends. And some videos of my band as well.

Boss MT-2 Metal Zone Review - Honest opinion
I've had the MT-2 lyin' around for nearly two years now and I figured I should do a review of it. Honestly speaking, I haven't really used it now, since I've found better tones from, for example my Pod X3 Live. I really don't think it's the best pedal ever, but on the other hand I am yet to find a compact pedal that I would REALLY like. (I get all the neat tones from my Pod, hehe...) Gear used: Boss MT-2 (obviously) - through Pod X3 Live's FX loop. ESP/LTD M-1000, tuned to D standard (DGCFAD) Shure SM57 for the spoken parts Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 for editing Most of the riffs are from Death songs, Scavenger of Human Sorrow and Spirit Crusher. Death is probably my fav death metal band :P

The guitar is tuned a half step down then dropped to D flat. I made a patch on my POD XT Live! using the Treadplate (Triple Rectifier) amp model. I know Matt Woods plays though a Mesa Rectifier (Not sure if his is a dual or triple) and believe I came really close on the sound with my POD. I panned the guitar 75% to the left and right of the audio track and placed the original track dead center. I recorded this with a M-Audio MobilePre USB connected to my MacBook Pro running Pro Tools M-Powered. Also, this video has a high quality version. Heres a cover i put together kind of quickly. This song is very cool. I love the meaning behind it and the feel it gives off. And yes, this video is serious ;) I just recently started making my videos with different angles, so thats pretty fun haha Tuning: Drop A# Guitar: Esp Ltd EC-1000 How I Record: For this song i plugged into my Pod UX1 interface, and used my pod farm plug in. I recorded the sound in Adobe Audition. For this song, i actually made three main guitar tracks, and quad tracks. I made one guitar panned all the way left, one middle and one all the way right. Just mainly expirimenting =) I also used the adobe stock mastering plugins and EQ and after that i used Izotope Ozone 4 to finish it off. Once i was done recording, i put the video all together in Sony Vegas Pro 9! Well thats about it for this cover, tell me what you think!! Dont forget to Rate, Comment and Subscribe!! Jason's Metal Guitar Tones POD HD500 (Treadplate/Mesa Amp)
This is my first recording with the POD HD500. At the time of this video (March 6th, 2012) I've had my HD500 for about 2-3 weeks. At first I struggled with getting the tone I wanted, then it dawned on me to use the same amp/cabinet and settings I had used with my POD XT Live (freakin' duh!!) Once I did that I was able to quickly dial in some solid metal rhythm and lead tones. I'm using the Treadplate amp (modeled after the Mesa Dual) and cabinet with the 67 condenser mic for my lead and left-panned rhythm tracks, and the 421 mic for my right-panned rhythm track. At this time I'm still holding on to my POD XT Live; perhaps it's sentimental or the fact that I've spent relentless hours programming it and tweaking my tones. However, I've come to quickly find that the HD500 does everything I need it to and then some. So on that note (no pun intended), I'm happy with the HD500. Frank Mendoza: I remember being arrested for being publicly drunk and being terrified because I was in jail and I had to let them know that I was gay and different. One of the officers made a threat against me and said that he was going to come get me later on. And I remember telling his supervisor the threat this officer just made on me. He said "Mr. Mendoza, you are in LA County Jail. You are in one of the safest facilities around. You have nothing to fear." Everybody's pod was shut except my pod. And I remember it seemed eerily quiet, and then as I'm looking around I see all the guards dispersing, just leaving. And my pod is still open and i'm wondering what's going on and from of the corner of my eye i see the gentleman, the officer that threatened me earlier, coming towards my cage -- coming towards me. and I just frantically started, I started screaming and yelling, to no avail -- nobody came to my rescue. and he just came in there and manhandled me and stripped me butt naked and sexually assaulted me. He left me naked, bloodied, and terrified. I remember just being left in the corner, shivering. And when there was a guard change the guard came and he noticed there was something wrong with me. And he even knew my name and he was like "Mendoza, what happened to you?" The moment I told him, he suddenly changed his demeanor and said, "Well, it doesn't look like anything happened to you. You look okay." There was no forensic evidence taken, no -- it was not treated as a <b>...</b>
BF2142 One pod, one man, one story.
The story is as follows *ahem*: I was in an APC when an enemy gunship spotted me. Now, APCs are not great at taking down gunships, so fighting didn't seem like a very good option. Eventually, I decided that my best bet would be to just launch my pod and run for my life. So, I launched my pod and to my surprise I hit the enemy's underside for massive damage, killing him instantly. Following this event was much mental celebration. END Short version: I owned an enemy gunship with an APC pod.
