Narbacular Drop is a puzzle game developed by Nuclear Monkey Software. It was released in 2005, and was made by some students attending DigiPen. When it comes to the gameplay, one can say that the gameplay reminds you of Portal (Nuclear Monkey Software worked on Portal as well). You can't jump in this game, so the only way to pass through obstacles, is by using the portals. If there is anything I can complain about when it comes to this game, it'd have to be the controls. It just feels slippery. Enjoy part 1.

Me playing the classic portal-based puzzle game Narbacular Drop. Developed by Nuclear Monkey Software in 2005, the game inspired the 2007 classic Portal. The main difference between Narbacular Drop and the more widely known Portal is that in Narbacular drop you can create portals through portals, increasing the possibilities for solving each puzzle exponentially. I take advantage of this system in the levels Very Vertical and Ledge Ladder. Oh yeah, even though you can't really see it, I go through this is a complete playthrough. I really should upgrade to something capable of HD exportation. Here is my first test of the "Narbacular Drop" remake map I'm working on for Portal 2. In case you're wondering, Narbacular Drop was a student made game created at Digipen which ultimately led to the creation of Portal when Valve hired it's team. This is simply a remake using some Portal 2 elements. The map is being played off as a long forgotten testing course far beneath Aperture Science. The first one ever built.
