Just four months later, "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" has appeared on the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and the following month, he recorded Souljaboytellem.com, his second album, the United States. In the 50th edition of the Grammy Awards, the singer was nominated for "Best Rap Music" but lost to "Good Life", written by Kanye West. The album sold just over 1 million copies.
