Every May,the High School I teach at celebrates the amazing diversity within our halls with an event called the Multicultural Festival. In the morning students put on a performance involving music and dance from the various cultures represented in the neighborhood. At lunch time, every one heads outside to eat free food from all over the world cooked by students, parents, and faculty. It is a wonderful day! The students in my program are responsible for mixing the music and providing live sound. We also shoot and edit a video of the event. This years theme was "Cultivating the Seeds of Global Unity". Everyone did a great job this year!
