Tony Parsons: What Authenticates Non-Duality? recorded in July 2011 by Non-Duality Dorset.

Response to pyrrho314 uk.youtube.com It is differences all the way down, no doubt. That is why I like the fractal metaphor. Differences all the way; however, self-similar patterns seem to pop up way too often for difference to be ultimate. Pi is interesting in this context... it will remain forever incomplete and will never repeat, but even so, the circle it represents just goes around and around and around... The cosmos is non-dual, but I'm not trying to assert a form of monism. Whatever reality is, it seems incomplete precisely because we can never know what it is. That would require an objective point of view, and that's not what I'm trying to assert, either. Reality is still evolving. All aspects of it are interdependent and related, even if they don't know it. Knowing it in the traditional sense, again, would be impossible, as no knowledge is objective. All seeing is doing, all observation contributes something to what is observed. A lot of mystics say we should live in a cloud of unknowing for this reason. I don't think we need to give up knowledge entirely, though. We just have to put it back in context, see it as relative and relational, and drop the idea that it represents an externally existing, information containing objective world who's laws remain forever unchanging and whose behavior we can manipulate and design for our own purposes. This leads in practice to human activity and technology that runs counter to the flow of nature, which has no preconceived ...

Jeff Foster's website is www.lifewithoutacentre.com "What we are talking about here is the possibility of waking up from the dream of separation. And it's an awakening that's simpler, gentler and more intimate than you could ever imagine. This radical message lovingly allows all spiritual paths to have their place, whilst at the same time making them completely obsolete. And this may feel very threatening to a mind hooked on ideas of paths, processes and perfection. But in the presence of this revolutionary clarity, the endless seeking of the mind cannot last. And then, in the place of striving, suffering, and solidity, there is only ever lightness, love... and so much laughter. Some have called this "spiritual awakening". I call it Life Without A Centre." Where this newfangled word "nonduality", and this oldfangled word "advaita", are pointing. There is no separation outside of the mind. EDIT: Crap! I should have added that one can become a Nondualist in the dream just as easily as a dream Christian or a dream Buddhist or any other conceptual identity that might be espoused. And the "nondualist" identity would be just as real and true as any other dream-identity. I probably should have also mentioned that there's no greater value in a lucid dream character as a non-lucid dream character; they're all made of the same stuff.

Interview with Jeff Foster 13th May 2008 For more: www.lifewithoutacentre.com The simple and direct message of Life Without A Centre is this there is only ever Oneness. And in Oneness, the dream of separation arises, the idea that you are a separate "person in the world", with a heavy past and an uncertain future, somehow divided from everyone and everything else. And in this dream there can be great suffering, because to a separate person, life will never seem complete, and a longing for Home will pervade all action. What we are talking about here is the possibility of waking up from this dream. And it's an awakening that's simpler and gentler than you could ever imagine. I call it Life Without A Centre.

Non duality - This is the description of something that happened to my perspective in the summer of 2009 After this happened, i started looking for information on books and internet, and found people talking about non duality, before that, i had absolutly no clue what this was or if there were others with similars stories. I was raised catholic, but i never felt satisfied, si i did some other things like meditation and i always liked reading philosphy, and now, all of that is gone. After watching videos, i liked how simple Tony Parsons talks about it, because it feels just like that, there is no one separated, there is no thing happening as everything, i've seen interviews on conscious.tv also and they have amazing material..... so far as december 2009, the sense of a person is still there, i just wonder what next?

Jeff Foster talks about nonduality (Advaita). When all the seeking of a lifetime falls away (and along with it, the separate seeker) all that's left is an extraordinary intimacy with whatever's happening, because there is no longer a person there "blocking out" life. www.lifewithoutacentre.com *Apologies for the poor sound quality - the camera was making funny clicking sounds and we couldn't figure out how to stop it!*
