Una ciudad hecha de puros sonidos. texto pot: Heriberto Yépez Fisrt single from our Album, video by Checo Brown enjoy! Before Nortec Collective was Bostich and Fussible

Back in 1988-1996 in Tijuana( US-Mexico Border) i was involved in diferent industrial, Noise Electronic Local Acts before i became Fussible with Melo Ruiz and started with "Nortec Collective" in 1999. At the same time i was working with Ramon Bostich to do an Ambient Noise Music Duo with a more analog synth touch, this poject called "Monithor" wich later become Latinsizer as a solo alias, this footage i founded in lost tapes from back in 1996, this video was taken at Monterrey city at an abandoned wharehouse from 1905 before it become a cultural park today (Parque Fundidora), Ramon and i did a total Analog Synth live set there in 1996 using using a couple of Moog Synths, Oberheims, analog sequencers and modified drum machines. enjoy De 1988 a 1996 estuve involucrado en varias agrupaciones de música electrónica post-industrial en Tijuana antes de empezar con fussible y posteriormente el "Colectivo Nortec" en1999.

Bulevar 2000. new Nortec Collective Album from Bostich+Fussible

Coming Soon! Bulevar 2000! from Nortec Collective Presents: Bostich+Fussible Agust 31st,2010 on Nacional Records After the success of Tijuana Sound Machine and their consolidation as one of the most creative acts around, Bostich + Fussible will be dropping a new record titled Boulevard 2000 on September 14th on Nacional Records. It will be interesting to see if they have evolved the nortec sound, this first single "I Count The Ways" does it brilliantly, integrating classical music to the already exciting fusion. Also, we must give them mad props for giving vocals a try, here provided by Loquat's Kylee Swenson. By listening to this song alone, it's as if they've acquired a different set of notions about their music, they're expanding their horizon to unprecedented possibilities. Download the song in the next player (click on the 'down' arrow) or grab it over at SF Weekly.

Nortec Collective Presents: Bostich+Fussible with OBC Baja california Orchestra - Entijuanarte 2009

Nortec Collective mashes its electronic music with classical In the spirit of connection, Bostich and Fussible send mash notes. By Reed Johnson January 10, 2010 Reporting from Tijuana - On a Pacific Ocean-cooled Sunday night last October, a crowd of 25000 people thronged the streets outside the Tijuana Cultural Center to witness a startling musical experiment. Packed two- and three-deep on the outdoor stage near the Avenue of Heroes, several members of the Baja California Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Ivan del Prado, conjured lush melodies more suited to a concert hall than a gritty urban thoroughfare. Overhead, a jumbo screen flashed Pop Art graphics ("BANG!") and images of border fences, billiard halls, scowling tough guys in cowboy hats and other Tijuana emblems. Standing directly behind the violinists and woodwind players, Ramon Amezcua and Pepe Mogt -- better known as Bostich and Fussible of the electronic music ensemble Nortec Collective -- tapped out metronomic tempos on hand-held computers, alternately merging and body-slamming their beats with the rich orchestral harmonies. Punctuating the complex rhythmic pulse, an accordionist, trumpeter and tuba player pumped out shotgun blasts of banda and norteño chords, while the moshing multitudes below snapped cellphone pics and roared their approval. The free, open-air concert was a welcome diversion for this sprawling border city of 1.5 million, which has suffered a months-long spate of brutal drug-related ...
