To perform the straight leg pendulum, lie on your back with arms out to the sides. Lift your legs straight up in the air until the hips are at 90 degrees. Go as far as you can under control, keeping your upper back and shoulders on the floor. Pull the legs back to the start and then over to the other side. This is a slow side to side movement.
