If you have this problem I recommend replacing the seals in the valve cover first and then coming back to recheck for oil in the spark plug wells in about a month or so, if you find oil then I recommend performing this procedure. Vintage 50's/60's Magic Chef Central Air Conditioner With Oil Leak
This house was built in the 50's, so the air conditioner is just as old. After decades of loyal service, and amazing the local heating and air servicemen at its reliability and how the model information label can not be read anymore, it's finally broken down. Still runs, but the exhaust smells of raw oil, and there is no more cool air. I suspect the freon tank blew out. It happened as soon as the weather warmed up back in April, and I noticed an oil slick around it. There has been a permanent wet spot on the ground all around it for the last month now. Hopefully it can be fixed. Magic Chef doesn't even make air conditioners anymore, but they are a lot more reliable than any new unit! That white box on the wall is a waterproof fuse box, and I never knew this until I seen the repairman tuned up the unit, but pulling that (empty) fuse caddy out of that box cuts the power to the unit. It has a "SERVICE DISCONNECTED" stamp on it, so I thought it was just leftover junk that nobody removed. Video filmed on: 5/20/2012 1:21 PM

BP Oil Leak The Beginning Of The End Part 2
BP's Deepwater Horizon rig has punctured a mega pocket of highly pressurized methane gas - putting millions of lives at risk in the Gulf. Oil and methane continue to surge into the Gulf from the destroyed well, with little hope of abatement. Evidence is growing for a devastating eruption of methane gas from deep beneath the sea floor. The resulting methane gas explosion and series of tsunamis could absolutely decimate the entire region. High Risk Area for Methane and Blowouts The extreme methane risk was well known before drilling commenced. Geologists warned oil companies working in the area that massive pockets of methane gas exist deep beneath the sea floor. The risk for a blowout and methane explosion was considered to be extremely high. BP chose to drill an ultra deep well directly above such a pocket - this one as large as 20 miles in diameter. Discoveries of natural gas are, of course, an important part of exploration. But the pressures of these methane pockets was predicted to be far higher than current technology can deal with. Typical well head pressures are in the 1500 pounds per square inch range. Geologists warned that gas pressures in this area could range between 30000 and 70000 psi. Some reports indicate the actual pressure at the well head is 100000 psi. No drilling equipment can handle this amount of pressure. Given the extreme risks involved with drilling in this location, BP is keeping a tight lid on all data regarding pressures and drilling depth <b>...</b>
