Unreal Tournament 2004 - gameplay
UT2004 was built with Unreal Engine 2.5 and the content of its predecessor, UT2003. It addressed many of 2003's shortcomings, including almost doubling the amount of content available. The game was developed by multiple studios, with Epic Games.. leading the project. Lead programmer Steve Polge described the role of each company involved: Epic Games Enhancements to the Unreal Tournament 2003 game types, the new UI, Voice over IP and bot voice command support, engine enhancements and optimizations. They also made an improved single player game, and improved community and demo recording support, in addition to thirty-one new playable characters. A Sniper Rifle similar to the one included in the original Unreal Tournament was added. They created one Onslaught map, and developed AI support for Onslaught. 16 new DM maps, 5 new CTF Maps, 2 new Double Domination maps and 1 new Bombing Run map were added. The Assault gametype design and implementation were also reintroduced from the original Unreal Tournament. Digital Extremes 3 new DM maps, 6 new CTF maps, 2 new Bombing Run maps, and 3 new Double Domination maps, 2 new playable characters, the new HUD design; new weapon models for the Assault Rifle, Shock Rifle, and Link Gun. A demo of the ut99cft-map, extreme low fps during recording on a old computer with fraps 1.9c (no sound), the latest Fraps wanted me to be admin and didn't install properly - do software evolve backward's latetly . This video is only to present the map and it's existence.The Deck16][ was not added last -the outdoor- map evolved to what it is now (a plane or Strangelove map) The weaponplacement is much as it is from the parentmap (s). I played ons-torlan and came up with this idea, and it was way to fast and short to score on this map, it still is but it has anyway some resemblence with the previous maps.The map is not this dark when played . Me doing some jumps in base on Ons-Torlan.These can be tricky for beginner's.Thought you do need to a doubledodge within certain distances from the wall's even changing double-clicktime to shorter might help as I use 0.19, thats as in tapping the keyboard-keys within 0.19 sec, 0.16 is possible for a short period of time for me anyway online- this came of I couldn't boostjump in ut2003,this I thought was a way to it.I can't boostjump anyway -if my dd-time is down to 0.125 sec I might possible pull it off dont know-so was my plan.

UT2004 - Torlan
It's been a while since I last played UT2004. I completely forgot about it, and played just UT3 mostly. Now, anytime the UT3 servers I usually play on are empty... hop on UT2k4 :) . There are always people on the UMGLeague server, quite nice folks, for that matter. No lag, no stuttering. I could record it in full resolution on my monitor, but meh... better 1280x720 than 1440x900.

2 minutes of Unreal Tournament 3 gameplay footage from the Warfare mode on Torlan showing some vehicular manslaugher (and pancake!). A few Necris vehicles, new to the Unreal series are also shown (and promptly killed!). I used the highest settings and recorded with FRAPS at 1600x1200 at 30fps.
