Our big Tex. And our big Pleco. Tex is nervous cause he knows it is time to clean his tank. Actually I am building a stand for his 60 gal tank, and he is going to be moved sometime over the summer. He hates nets so that will be fun. Also some 1/4 red point and 3/4 con mixes, and the daddy 1/2 con 1/2 red point, To think I got great great great great grand children of my first convict.
Our community tank, I forgot to close the curtian so the water looks foggy again. Oh well, I also should of wiped off some water spots, and let the treatment I added "un-foam" a little bit. But I guess I am happy with the video. We have 1 male betta, two guppies, two neons, two rosey reds, one dwarf cory, and 4 ghost shrimp. Plants are umbrellas, swords, ferns, and kyoto grass. Sand with light gravel is beign used, and the filtration is a 15 gal whipser filter, on low. Plants are doing well, they are doing better then when I bought them 1/2 dead from the petstore. Fish are healthy, we have lost four critters, we lost a white cloud, and neon tetra, both who figured out a way to swim up inside the filter and get chopped in half. We lost an african dwarf frog, who maybe isn't dead, he was on his back in our community tank, I fished him out and he was alive, so I put in another tank (turtles are lousy hunters) The frog came free he was hiding in a feeder tank at a pet store, and the girl who got me feeders didn't want to touch him so he was free. And we lost a ghost shrimp. Not sure how, is appeared to be trying to eat a piece of silicone that fell off around out light housing. Dont' know. But besides that all has been well. I checked the plants they are rooting nicley in the sand. Good coloring, much better they were brownish when I first got them, and after two days turned green, still green today. Very active neat tank to watch.

I know the first one is a flash light. Secondly the other two that blink are watch batteries, wire, pipe cleaner, tape, and leds. The big un' is a rotory motor, wire, 9 vlt lead, 9 volt, part of a door lock, more wire, a led, and tape. Easy to make I just slapped them together out of crap laying around. No I didn't make the beagle ;P. As far as the non beagle things you can probably look at the stills and figure out how I did it. On the LED, the long diode wire is +, the short is -, that is the most complicated part.

A 31x8 board with custom art work. Not air brushed, or mass produced painted, but Hand painted with acrylic. Work is done in layers of paint, not one flat layer, but many layers of color over color. Coated in four coats of protective polyeurothane. Trick board, so it has 58mm large wheels, and is Maple wood. The top is new grip paper covered, the edges have a clean paint line. The art was hand painted with brush, the colors are layered creating awesome visual effects the video does not do justice with.
We got some feeders, yeah we know they are too big for our cichlids to eat, but they were going to toss them anyway. So we put them in our tank and our Texas found new play toys beating the crap out them goldfish. He did eat them, just in parts, piece by piece with Dempsey's help. The big goldie is rocket 4 (previous owned), he has grown amazingly and has blended in with the cichlid family. Oh the white divided is a tank partition, convict babies on the other side.

First, I know the vid quality is crap, this is just to show some current emulation on a psp. Frame rates, control repsonse, ect. . . A NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, then GBA is emulated on the vid. I have also seen MAME, PSX (still buggy), of course C64, Atari, ect emulated. The last game is X-Men 2 for PSP, posted to show that a modded PSP will still play PSP games. Though you may need current custom firmware. This is a; PSP fat, 3.90 M33-5 with 150 mod add on.
My 76 Nova sedan. The camera has audio lag and I shot it while home sick from work. I got a few sinus meds in me and decided to play with my camera. I do sound like crap, because I feel like crap and was loopy. It is a 327 L28 stamped block, performer intake, 4bbl edelbrock carb, 4 core radiator, 8" rear, th350 tubro hydramatc transmission, ect... The camera couldn't focus in on the color due to poor lighting, all the shadows really showed up. When the car get annoyingly bright, thats about the real color, as my friend says, it isn't yellow, it IS yellow. Very bright, but the shadows and camera adjusting really take away from it. Thats my pile, lots left to do as said.

They finally got big enough to move up to thier new home! Our cichlid babies are loving it. They are Mr. Dempsey, a Jack Dempsey, Tex a Texas, Chimera a firemouth, and Mark a convict. Non cichlids are Fat Tony the pleco, and rocket #4 the goldfish (yes we know they are eating rocket thats why he is number 4) no feeder roseys or guppies survived to make the video. The is our fishies getting adjusted and staking out territory in thier new home, they just moved up from a 35 gal to this big ole tank.

We got a blue convict, or Honduran red point as I've heard it called, but it fell in love with our convict, with in five days they have eggs already, much in spite of the convicts first love our texas cichlid. But the tex and convict never bred, however blue and convict have eggs. (I know many people are against cross breeding) but I am hoping they hatch and have the size, fins, and head of the blue and beautiful markings of the convict. But who knows. This vid has both of the parents behind a divider caring and protecting thier eggs, they should hatch in about a week after or sooner after this video was shot, we already have many people who want one. Depedning on how many succesfully "hatch and develop" we may have some for sale as well!

The wife's cv joint was going bad so I checked the car out. Changed the driver's side tie rodend, found the cv on that side fine, and then started on the passenger side. Tie rod end wasn't bad, but had a new one anyway, cv boot had came off, clamp snapped, and the joint itself had split and lost a bearing. Big clunking going on. I took everything off and wanted to get a good video, but at 30 degrees my camera batteries kept dieing. But I changed the cv half shaft, and tie rod. Didn't film/photograph the tie rod end, it is two bolts and a cotter pin. But I did get shots of tearing everythig apart, if you ant to see go go back together watch the video in reverse ;P. Yes in the vid there are two half axles on my car, didn't do the driver side wasn't bad yet, just replaced the tie rod end over there. I had four big pains. The axle nut. Beating the differential spline out of the transmission. Advance Auto parts gave me the wrong cv half shaft. It was cold enough to have my beer freeze outside, and my batteries die in about thirty seconds.
So after about two months I decided I should turn over the nova and let her run a few minutes. Had the camera and thought hey why not take a video of me turning this thing over after a month or so of negative degree weather. She was a little cold blooded, but got fired up. I still that exhaust leak at the base of the header you can ticking, and few other things that will wait to spring to fix. But this is her starting after sitting cold (don't heat my garage) for about two months, not sure when I started her last I think it was the first week of November, right after halloween.
So my wife wanted something little cute, and a chevy, like my nova, to drive. We found a chevette dirt cheap. Q "How much will this costs to make this run as good as your nova?" A "About as much as a fuel pump and starter for our VW. So begins the adventure of the little smashed up, busted windshield Chevette that barely can pull itself 30 mph and has no brakes. This is just a slideshow of the first few days of work, general tune up, setting the timing, checking things out. No I'm not putting a SBC in it, she still wants 30-40mpg hwy. Though I am loosing the cat, ac, and other crap it don't need. So far we are just about the cost of a new starter and fuel pumper for the VW and have 90% of the parts picked up. There will be more updates as we work on this project. By the way hate chevettes? This thing is thirty years old, half the vacuum lines are missing and the dizzy wasn't bolted down, the timing was roughly 10-15 degrees after TDC on #1 with a moving dizzy, and she still started and drove around.

We got Honduran(Blue)/Convict babies in the corner, now Demspey and Mera the Firemouth have been making out, Mera has been very protective of this pot (Unusual as she normally patrols the tank) she had been cleaning it the past few days and Demspey has been close as well, can't tell if there are eggs in it yet, have to wait and see. Also a shot of our rapidly growingly blue/convict fry in the corner.

We introduced a blue convict into our mix, and he and our convict fell in love. So Blue, and Mark (orginal convict) are closely loving each other. Tex, the texas cichlid is Mark the orginal convict's previou lover and the three are having lover spats all over the tank. No serious fighting but some serious pissing matches.

We get dew worms every time it rains. Our cichlids love them. This is them eating them, yes we clean them of course. We didn't put any on the other side of the tank divider because our convicts have fry over there and I didn't want to freak out too bad.

Our convict hybrid, one we kept, half honduran red point(blue convict), half convict. Vid a little blurry but his fins are a gorgeous translucent blue, with green in the top fin, very defined stripes with gret coloration. Little mael is about three months old at this recording.
My survival kit. An army issue waterproof bag, with two belt hooks, twist ties, and another waterproof container that holds 5 .22 rounds. Inside is a plactic container that can be used as a cup, also waterproof. Some bandaids, a first aid kit, a ball point pen, a few more twist and zip ties, pain meds. Inside the container is more banaids, a 3x5 card for writing, or kindling, a large red rag for signaling, filtration. The rag is folded like a wallet and holds four saftey pens, four hooks, 10' of fishing line around a screw sinker, a small knife, a razor blade, needle and thread, abou ta 2'x2' piece of foil for cooking, boiling, or signaling. Simple little survival kit, small weighs less than one pound, ready to go or sit and wait.
