A beautiful song and gameplay from the game Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan for the Nintendo DS. This game was released in 2005, but I just recently heard about it and loved it. The song name is Over the Distance by Hitomi Yaida. It is definitely my favorite song from the two games in the series. I find it to be a lot more enjoyable on hard mode, rather than expert. There were no high quality (non-emulated) videos of it on youtube, so I decided to capture and subtitle it myself to share it with everyone who loves the Ouendan games. Enjoy. www.dinkydana.com

This is a video I made for the last song of Ouendan 2. It got an S rank and an score of 9999999, on the divas level (insane) and having the circles gone. Kinda weird for the developers to think players wouldn't reach this score. Hope you enjoy this video and hopefully it will help some of you out. It is not an all 300 video and I do apologize for the lack of quality. Next video I will try to have someone film me while I play so you can see how I move the stylus.

I'm not the best gamer for this (lol a gamer using an emulator and a touchpad from the laptop) but I tried it and survived! xD I hope I get a real DS soon... *sigh*

Ouendan - Salaryman Episode
Its not a bad song, and comes close in my books to Melody (used for the Matsuri Competition) and Atsuki Kodou no Hate (used for the Teacher's Dilemma Episode). The episode describes an average everyday Japanese salaryman (overworked, underpaid office worker). He is disliked by both his wife and daughter. Just then, as he is coming back from work, a giant blue rat attacks the city (WTF!? o_O), and he transforms to an Ultraman sized hero (with a Ryu headband that's composed of his tie) and fights the rat to save the city, and his daughter. =) This video is made out of 3 recorded videos, namely the intro, the song and the score at the end, because of my camera's 3 minute time recording limitation. Again, pardon the screw ups nn; I'm not very good at this game.

Final Postgame Ouendan Craziness at Chiba, Part 2
Filmed September 3, 2009, at Chiba Marine Stadium, from the midst of the Fighters cheering group. As it was the last scheduled Fighters-Marines game for the 2009 season at Chiba Marine Stadium, even though the Fighters lost, we all stuck around for a post-game ouenkai. Basically, the two teams' cheering groups show respect for each other by yelling to the other side how they did a good job this year and good luck next year and so on, as well as singing each others' cheer songs. In this video, they had just totally owned us by doing our Kanto chance theme, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang... we had no idea how to respond, but some people got us to start doing the Benny Agbayani jump and song, so this is a rare chance to see the Fighters ouendan doing "Let's Go Benny". They responded by doing Yukio Tanaka's cheer song! Man, they were PREPARED! One of the ouendan leaders after that, as an appropriate response, said "Hey, who knows Koichi Hori's cheer song? Whoever knows it, let's try that one!" and so we did Koichi Hori's cheer song. (Hori is to Lotte somewhat as Yukio is to the Fighters.) Well, after this video, they responded with Tatsuro Hirose's cheer song. Yikes. We retaliated with Kiyoshi Hatsushiba's. THEY retaliated with our Kita no Kuni Kara chance music. So we did Tsuyoshi Nishioka's song. They did Tomochika Tsuboi's song. These things escalate, you know...
