My first attempt at reviewing a gun, in this case my favorite GBB, my KSC Sig Sauer P226. The US Military was looking for a new side arm to replace the 1911 in order to comply with the standardization of the 9x19mm round by NATO. In the end, the P226 lost to the Beretta 92F. The P226 was later adopted by the Navy SEALs after experiencing Slide Failures with the M9. This ultimately led to the rising popularity of the P226 in the civilian market. The P226 comes in many variants, including smaller framed versions. It is available in 9x19mm Parabellum, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W. It encompasses a wide range of users, including the US Navy SEALs, the British SAS, various other special forces units, various police forces around the world, and various military around the world. The list goes on and on, making the P226 and its variants one of the most used sidearms in the world. The Airsoft Version: Out of my good sized collection of Gas Blow Backs, the KSC P226 is by far my favorite. It's full metal construction combined with a high quality design makes for an amazing replica of the real steel ...
