Panasonic at The Gadget Show Live 2011

Tom Dunmore reports live from the Panasonic Stand at The Gadget Show Live 2011 to tell you more about our 3D VIERA NeoPlasma & LED LCD TVs, VIERA Connect, 3D Blu-ray recorders, Lumix cameras, camcorders and our range of white goods for 2011. This video was shot on a Lumix GH2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The first thing you'll see when you walk through the doors at The Gadget Show Live is the Panasonic stand - the largest at the show. 3D is right at the heart of what Panasonic is doing at the show. From our Full HD 3D VIERA VT30 NeoPlama TVs - which are available in sizes up to 65 inches - to our 3D LED TVs at 32 and 37 inches, if you fancy something a little smaller. We also have a huge range of 3D Blu-ray home theatre systems showcased at our stand. But 3D is about more than a beautiful TV - Panasonic are doing more than anyone else to ensure there is plenty to watch in 3D. At The Gadget Show Live we are showcasing our range of 3D Blu-ray players, along with the most famous 3D film of all, Avatar. The Avatar 3D Blu-ray Disc is exclusively available to Panasonic customers, and it's certain that this will go down a treat at the show. If you fancy yourself as the next James Cameron, you can check out user-generated 3D video captured using Panasonic camcorders such as the HS900. Panasonic H-HS12035 lens in action

Panasonic has pulled the curtain off a new interchangeable lens for its Lumix G System of Micro Four Thirds cameras. Boasting Panasonic's own nano surface technology, optical image stabilisation, aspherical and ED glass elements, Panny says its latest 12-35mm X series lens will give you better quality images than ever before. The Nano surface coating helps the latest lens combat reflection (which causes ghosting and lens flare) while the built-in zoom lever gives you quick and silent zooming. The new lens features Power OIS (Panasonic's image stabilisation), designed to take clear pictures in low-light conditions, and to make it easier for shaky hands to take clear photos. But don't take our word for it - check out the new X series lens in action below:

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 Review

For the full review, visit www.infosyncworld.com That fixed lens point-and-shoot has run its course and you long for an interchangeable lens system with much better image quality, advanced manual controls, and highly impressive 720p HD video. But most DSLRs are so expensive! That's where the 12-megapixel Micro Four Thirds Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 comes into play. We loved the company's first Micro Four Thirds camera, the Lumix DMC-G1, and the G10 is simply a watered-down version of the originator. It's an exceptional bridge camera, providing a solid path into the land of advanced photography while still maintaining a very attractive price tag. In addition to the aforementioned features, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 includes Panasonic's Intelligent Auto suite, which has been migrated from the company's point-and-shoot line. We shot side-by-side with the Olympus E-PL1, so if you're uncertain on which model is right for you, we'll give you the skinny right here.

Toughbook 19 vs. Snowmobile

www.toughbook.com In this video, the Toughbook 19 endures extreme vibration, shock and freezing temperatures while being dragged behind a snowmobile. Due to its high levels of reliability, only one Toughbook 19 was used in the production of this video. At the end of this video torture test (shot with a LUMIX GH1 DSLR) the Toughbook 19 worked fine. The Toughbook 19 features a 10.4" sunlight-viewable 1000 nit touchscreen with Panasonic CircuLumin™ technology, and an Intel® Core™ i5 vPro™ processor. Integrated options include a 2MP camera, backlit keyboard (emissive or rubber), GPS receiver, Gobi™2000 mobile broadband and a dual touch LCD (touchscreen and digitizer). In addition, a 6-foot drop & IP65 certified design with a full magnesium alloy case, helps to ensure that the Toughbook 19 will stand up to the most rigorous environments.

For the full Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 review, go to www.infosyncworld.com We had to wait two years for Panasonic to revamp the LX3, so when we initially locked eyes with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, a tidal wave of question marks bombarded our minds. How is this a different camera? Why has hardly anything changed on the outside? However, upon further investigation, it was apparent that nearly all of the LX5's improvements resided under the hood, including AVCHD Lite with full manual video controls, gaggles of Art filters for creative expression, new image processing, and other enticing features. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 battles the Canon PowerShot G12 and Nikon Coolpix P7000, and we'll tell you that the little LX5 gives both of the aforementioned giants a run for their money.

Panasonic HDC-SD90 - Nature

Demo of the Panasonic HDC-SD90 in a local woodland park. Video of some birds and other animals. I combined several 1080/50p clips and uploaded this video using the bundled Panasonic software - I don't think it looks as good as the other vids I've taken so there might be some compression going on somewhere in this software when either joining the clips or uploading to Youtube from the software. This was filmed on iA (intelligent Auto). Theres a few problems with letting the camera have a guess at the settings and this as can be seen in the video. The swan is a white blob, the crow is a black blob and the colours in the last scene are horribly washed out. Close ups were filmed using image stabilisation which did an OK job considering how unsteady my hands are. When using the 60x zoom the compression is obvious - especially noticeable on the water - I forgot to switch this off and put it back to a maximum of 40x which is much better as it uses the "Intelligent Zoom" up to this point. For anyone that's interested - the weird looking Duck is a Wood Duck from North America! Not sure why it's in my local pond...he's cool tho.
