Yosh! The first -40 Ice Inferno on Pangya Global! I promised myself I wouldn't rush push a -40 here but the temptation was too strong :P Not a very challenging map, took me about 4 playthroughs to get all the slopes right and got the -40 on my fifth round. Nevertheless I'm very satisfied with this record. I messed up my teeshot on hole 3 forcing me to 3w tomahawk, hole 9 failed teeshot as well. I had to silent hole 12 to reach with 1 powershot to save powers for the later holes. All in all I played my items perfectly despite the few bad teeshots. Items: 2 silent + 2 safety + 1 milk + 3 pots what's next? Maybe I'll try a bit more Lost Seaway and Wiz City (what can I say, I love portal HIO's) This is how we do it in [1st]! Enjoy watching~

-46 Lost Seaway! Long overdue but I'm still thrilled I finally got it! Had no chance to get a better score this round with the pins/winds I was given; 397y/3m on h7, 403y/7m on hole 9, 307y/5m on hole 8, 389y/1m on h16 were all bad conditions in which I am unable to HIO. I wasn't expecting a record as this my first round of the day and I merely considered it a warm-up (same reason I only recorded the chips, not the full game). Items used: 1 spin mastery (h8, hit the ship however D:), 4 silent wind (h1,4,5,14) and the rest milk/pots Thanks to gellehar for playing ahead of me and calling out the winds/pins on the final holes. I tried to edit the video in Sony Vegas to get better quality output and hopefully youtube recognizes it as HD. -41 Shining Sand! I've been working on this course for a week now, trying to learn to HIO hole 9 and 15 to someday go for a -43. My research on those holes is nowhere near done though, so in reality this was only a -41 round. I stupidly used my silent wind on hole 16 to secure a dunk, leaving me with no silent for hole 9 (5m, couldn't HIO). I played the last few holes safely (tomahawking 5 and 7) to make sure I didn't mess up, since my last three Shining Sand rounds were -40's with stupid mistakes such as forgetting to add rough and the like. Yet another -43 on Wiz City. I had a very decent opportunity to get -45 or better this round but I messed it up quite badly (and got a little unlucky as well). Hole 7: Wrong pin (548y...can't hio that one yet) Hole 8: I have no idea what caused that miss Hole 9: Lack of experience on 347y pin Hole 12: Misread ballslope Hole 14: Wrong pin as well (436y...) Hole 15: Another wrong pin (I can't hio 561y yet, I only have notes for the other two...) Hole 17: I got overconfident and thought I could hio with 2m, turns out I couldn't lol. Items used: 5 silent+stabilizer (holes 4,5,11, 13 and 14) 1 spin mastery (hole 8) 1 milk 2 power potions This is like the fifth -43 I've shot on Wiz City so far. Yosh! Finally the -40 here! I've been playing almost nothing but White Wiz last week, really wanting to -40 it since it's only one of the three maps I had left to -40. Finally got it! The conditions were wonderful. Good winds all over the place, the short pin on 14 with 7m tailwind too. Played my items as planned, everything just worked out this round. A big thank you to Karti, Gellehar and Bonso for the motivation, and all of [1st] guild of course. I added some better fade-in effects in this video, and I think the quality came out higher than it usually does as well. I am slowly learning how to make better videos :P Enjoy watching~

Alright, so a lot of people has been asking me about slope reading, angle reading, calculations, and in general, how I play. So this video includes all of the above. I'm still not as fast as Himari or Mygame or the PWC participants in terms of mindcalc, but I'm gonna improve and focus on consistent play instead of all the shit courses like Ice Spa and Lost Seaway, which requires a lot of notes, silent winds, a lot of determination, and very little skill. Part 1: H4 - Finished my calculations, realized that I added slope the wrong way, wiped the text, recalculated everything D: H7&8 - I was gonna dunk, but then checked the slope and wasn't confident enough in my own slope reading skills so I opted the safer tomahawk choice. H9 - I was planning on dunking that at 4m wind but after seeing the remaining time of the tourney, I went ahead and used a silent wind to secure the dunk. A silent wind really minimizes mental calculations as you can always estimate numbers rather than using all the small decimals on 1m wind. ........................ I was often unsure about dunk powercuts. This is perhaps one of my weakpoints. For those who are gonna watch the whole superplay, you'll see in part 2 on H16 that I was short by half a yard. Anyway, 29 minute 720p HD superplay recorded by Dxtory (raw file was 1.5GB @ 60 frames per second, so much win :D). Enjoy the superplay. ***Watch in HD***

This round was actually a possible -45 (3 hio that i did + h9 where i took the wrong cut ... and H17 but i was out of silent since i got hgh bad wind at h6)... I'm still studing many ways to chip more pins (using curve) but it's not easy since family mode don't recognize cards in Global Pangya and test while playing requires lot of time I'll keep studing and pushing so let's hope to update this video soon ;)
