The US Air Force Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) team evacuates wounded or dead soldiers and other military personnel in Afghanistan and Iraq. Before deployment to a war zone, they train hard. In this video, they are in the Playas training facility in New Mexico, US. When they operate in Afghanistan, they are called the Pedros. This is a video I did even though the footage wasn't great (spots on the lens), and it was hard getting the action footage with a Canon 5D. That camera is better for non-combat action shots. For security purposes I was not allowed to get any closer to the action & I was wearing full riot head gear with a plexiglass front= impossible to watch what I was filming. It turned out to be harder to do a video on the ground than flying with Pedros in Afghanistan with a normal video camera. Who'd know..
