Sony C800g vs. Peluso VTB Microphone Shootout -- Female Vocals
www.soundpure.com The Sony C800g PAC is one of the most well-respected microphones in the world that is actually in current production... it is also one of the most expensive. John Peluso, of Peluso Microphone Labs created the VTB (Vacuum Tube Bottle), with the sound of the C800g in mind. While they are not exactly the same, they do have some striking similarities, and we wanted to put them to the challenge in this vocal microphone shootout and microphone comparison test. We tracked both mics through an Avalon AD2022 on an amazing vocalist, Jeanne Jolly. One thing is for sure, we liked the sound of the VTB a lot, particularly given its $1500 price tag, but, there's clearly very little bad to be said about the great sound of the legendary Sony C800g that continues to be a favorite choice on pop and hip-hop vocal recordings, all over the world. O Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) liberou nesta quinta-feira o aborto em caso de gestação de feto anencéfalo. O placar do julgamento foi 8 votos a favor e 2 contra a interrupção da gravidez de bebês com má formação no cérebro. A maioria dos ministros entendeu que o procedimento não deve ser considerado abortivo, porque o anencéfalo geralmente morre durante a gestação ou vive por apenas poucas horas após o parto. O presidente do STF, Cezar Peluso, foi o último a votar. O ministro fez um duro discurso contra o aborto de anencéfalos. Disse que o procedimento é "cruel" e comparável ao racismo. "Todos esses casos retratam a absurda defesa da superioridade de alguns, de raça branca, ariana sobre outros, negros, judeus", disse. "Encena-se a atuação avassaladora do ser poderoso e superior e detentor de toda a força infringe a pena de morte ao incapaz de pressentir a agressão e de esboçar qualquer defesa", afirmou. De acordo com Peluso, o feto anencéfalo deve ser protegido sob a ótica jurídica, porque não deixa de ser humano. "Nesta postura dogmática ao feto, reduzi-lo no fim das contas à condição de lixo, uma coisa imprestável e incômoda, não é dispensada de nenhum ângulo à menor consideração ética e jurídica", afirmou. Com argumentos filosóficos, o ministro disse que o Direito se vale de conceitos pré-jurídicos.
