How to ride Pillion on a motorcycle
I thought i would have a crack at a how to video. I have been riding as a pillion since i was little so if you think i'm wrong then either im not or im just not explaining very well. Im on the back of a Honda hornet 600 which belongs to my dad.

Ergonomic Modification to Buell 1125r Pillion Seat Cover
For those of us taller in stature than Erik we soon find our backsides up against the plastic cover on the pillion seat. I dealt with that almost 3 years before finally running the cover through the bandsaw and shortening it so my ass can slide further back on the bike, allowing my elbows to tuck in front of my knees as God and Erik Buell intended. The mod is not hard to do, requires only some way to cut. file and sand the plastic cover. I secured it from below with two small self tapping screws through the tabs on either side. The front of the shortened cover is trapped by the strap that runs over the pillion pad. I also revisited the open airbox mod. I may run it that way for a while. Not sure. It's louder, but I cannot say that it improves performance. It looks pretty good, that black hex mesh.

The Sound Of The 'Bird - Tom Pillion
Rarebird was a local club band that enjoyed success from 1973-1975 in Southern Maryland. I started the band with John McCollister, a Navy squadron mate. Our intent was to form a 3-piece group that could play small clubs for fun and profit. I played guitar, John played bass, and we both sang. We found a drummer in Effie Earhart, a Navy photographer who was stationed with us at Naval Air Test Center, Pax River, MD, and who had played professionally in NYC before entering the Navy. In summer '73, John left the Navy and the band to join the airlines. Not long afterwards, his training stalled and he returned to the band, but not before I had invited Joe Wilmont, another Navy friend, to join the group. So we became a foursome. Eventually John's airline commitment was renewed, and he left again. We added John Bradburn on bass. John B was a local high school student who had played in a rock band with drummer Kevin Stevens. Kevin filled in for Effie periodically and during a period where she took a two month leave of absence. Joe also took a short leave of absence, at which time I invited another Navy friend, Scott Evans to join. Eventually Effie and Joe returned, but Scott stayed, so for a while we were a five piece group, and upon several occasions we played with both Effie and Kevin on drums as a six-piece. From time to time we had other guests for short periods of time. We disbanded in 1975, at which time I was transferred to Jacksonville, FL. In early 1976, I wrote, "The <b>...</b>
