Rex strutted and fretted for their hour On the stage of life they just couldn't avoid Looking up to the one and only Pink Floyd Carl Jung must have leered at Sigmund Freud When he appeared in a dream with Liona Boyd Sigmund was curious Carl became annoyed He went off to his room and chilled with Pink Floyd Jung never looked back when he parted from Freud He started a rock band he was overjoyed When he found a steady gig on a distant asteroid Doing Dark Side of the Moon and other hits by Pink Floyd Jung's Mobile Unit was never unemployed They played on Earth and they toured in the void Up on stage with his alter-ego android He formulated the Theory of Universal Pink Floyd Note: Pink Floyd made Ummagumma in 1969. Written (2008) and performed (Thursday October 13, 2011) by James Lindsay, a song in praise of Pink Floyd.

Mizrach -- Two Days of Jewish Jazz and Avant-garde When: 1-2.09.2007 Where: Ohel What was the idea behind Mizrach? It was to hand out music and recordings of different styles of traditional Jewish music to contemporary musicians and allow them their own, unrestricted interpretation. The idea proved to be an inspiring challenge for young, avant-garde artists. Each of the six bands performing in the Ohel handled it differently. On Saturday the atmosphere was nostalgic, on Sunday it was more dynamic, out-and-out dance-like, but all the time full of positive vibrations. The Sunday concert, as part of the Festival of Jewish Culture -- Singer's Warsaw, was, for many, a satisfactory completion of the events taking place on Próżna Street. The concerts were accompanied by a carefully published catalogue full of information about the origins and present condition of different styles of Jewish music, written by a musicologist, Dorota Szwarcman.
