Platige Image is an awarded post-production studio established in 1998 in Warsaw, Poland. They specialize in commercial production, advanced animation and quality special effects for films. They have produced animation for advertisements promoting brands like Żubr, Lech, Biedronka, Tesco, Heyah, Plus, 36i6, UPC, Olej Kujawski, Danio, Kubuś, Duracell, Kellogg's, Fiat, Canal+ and LEGO. The studio has been involved in the creation of numerous animated shorts. In the last few years they have contributed to the production of Tomek Bagiński's films: Oscar-nominated "The Cathedral", BAFTA awarded "Fallen Art" and his latest work "The Kinematograph". "We willingly take on special projects for cultural institutions" such as "City of Ruins", "Animated History of Poland" and "Jan Matejko's Battle of Grunwald 3D". All of them were produced in 3D stereo technique. Platige Image has prepared cinematics for a computer game "The Witcher", visualization for "Tristan" ballet directed by Krzysztof Pastor, and Krzysztof Penderecki's concert "Seven Gates of Jerusalem" for the composer's 75th anniversary. They have also created a number of special effects for several features. Among them there are "Katyń" (dir. Andrzej Wajda), "Essential Killing" (dir. We were responsible for concept, design, art direction and Platige Image took care of production & animation.
