Jean Hill and Mary Moorman were standing on Elm Street when the presidents limousine passed by. Moorman was standing on grass about 2 feet south of the south curb of Elm Street in Dealey Plaza, directly across from the grassy knoll and the North Pergola concrete structure that Abraham Zapruder and his assistant Marilyn Sitzman were standing on during the assassination. Moorman was standing only 20 feet behind and to the left of President Kennedy with her friend, Jean Hill, and they are clearly seen in the Zapruder film. The american artist Julian Schnabel became famous in the early 1980s for his plate paintings. He also made a name for himself as a director and screenplay writer with his first film, which was about his friend and fellow artist, "Jean-Michel Basquiat" (1996) and his second film, "Before Night Falls". www.techlicious.com Polaroid, the brand that was once synonymous with instant film, left the business about two years ago. The brand is now back on a basic consumer camera that spits out business card-size prints. We say "the brand" because the actual camera is a rebadged Fujifilm model, the Instax 7S. (Though the Polaroid does come in other colors--black, red and blue.) The film is the same as well. In the shots we took, the colors were bright and true to life and the focus was soft, which you'd expect from this type of camera. Prints take several minutes to fully process, but it's still fun to see them slowly emerge from the field of white. The Polaroid 300 costs $90 and film $10 for 10 prints--a bit pricey for everyday shooting- or you can use the Fujifilm packs, which are almost half the price.
