An excellent piece of main stream coverage on this past weekend, I'm sure this video wont be up long, but figured the folks looking at the vids on this channel would appreciate it. Thanks for an excellent piece Lawrence O'donnel Follow the live stream of the occupy wall street protests here: www.livestream.com This may seem insignificant to some, but this is where REAL reform starts. These protests are filled with individual who have a quarrel with how corrupt our government and federal bank have become. Many have their own message, many just know they are not happy and want to create a better society for themselves and their fellow Americans. The corruption of the FED is avoided by the main stream media, make your own assumptions as to why, but one of the goals of these protestors is to bring light to some of these facts. The FED has handed out over $16 Trillion to private banks and corporations in the past 4 years and NONE of this was addressed in the mainstream news nor was it approved of by the people. This is clearly a red flag!! Look at these reputable links below that PROVE my statements are true, and spread them around. Dont allow these protestors sacrifices to be in vain!! "We don't really want to engage in this sort of activity but we're not going to back down either," Assistant Commissioner Fontana said. "They've [protesters] had more than ample time to make their point in terms of what their protest is about and I think it's time to give the City Square back to the citizens of Melbourne." Greens MP Adam Bandt, the federal member for Melbourne, said calling on the riot police to intervene was a serious error by political leaders. Hundreds of people, including school children, are now lining Swanston and Collins streets watching the drama, with some chanting "the whole world is watching". "People will be arrested," he said, as protesters around him chanted "We are the 99 per cent". Earlier, organisers used loudspeakers to urge the protesters to call everyone they knew to join the protest before the 9am deadline and passed around marker pens to write the mobile phone number of a legal service on their arms in preparation for arrest. Mr Doyle said a fence would be used to try to keep others from joining the protest at the makshift camp, which he said had been taken over by "professional protesters" in recent days. While some protesters packed up their tents in the rain and moved on, most remained steadfast. Passers-by watched the unfolding drama from the neighbouring Starbucks coffee outlet, where they turned chairs outside the front of the store to face the action. However at 8.30am, as yet more police moved in, Starbucks staff began ...

In this police brutality video you will see how bad police brutality is really getting. My police brutality video evidence footage was destroyed. Police brutality video evidence is being destroyed and banned all across America. In this video I talk about how my police brutality video footage was destroyed and I also talk about how it is becoming illegal to video police while they are enjoying some good old fashioned police brutality. It is becoming OK for the police to beat innocent people. This police brutality video is not meant to be funny in any way. Journalist Luke Rudkowski was attacked by police Wednesday night while trying to document the Occupy Wall Street arrests in NY. NYPD used pepper spray, batons, and brute force to move protesters away from the entrance to Wall Street after many tried to push through police barricades. Rumors immediately circulated that police provocateurs dressed as protesters were to blame for the incident. The OWS protests continue across the US and as the police continue to crackdown on protesters after violent clashes and arrests over the weekend, some activists believe that police have gone too far in their reliance on excessive force. Activist Timothy Frawls told RT that the problem has a lot to do with the militarization of police, which was ramped up in the aftermath of 9/11. TRANSCRIPT: lybio.net Ian Birk, 27, who joined the department two years ago, was on patrol Monday afternoon when he saw John T. Williams crossing Boren Avenue at Howell Street carrying a folding knife and a piece of wood. The officer pulled his cruiser over and approached Williams, police officials said. Police say Birk ordered him to drop the knife three times before he fired five shots from a distance of nine to 10 feet killing him. The knife was found closed www.komonews.com Initial reports by the police were that the man advanced on the officer with the knife; however, the department on Tuesday said it could no longer be sure that occurred. Sean Whitcomb, the police department's spokesman, said Wednesday that the department was looking for additional witnesses to the shooting or anyone who might have been with Williams earlier in the day. Birk has been placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. Alex Castas, general manager of Ye Olde Curiosity Shop on the Seattle waterfront, said his shop has been buying carvings from Williams' family for five generations, stretching back to the 1880s, when the shop used to buy from tribal members paddling up in canoes. He said he had known Williams for 15 years, and never known him to be violent, though he often knew Williams to be incoherent because of drinking. "I can definitely see a scenario where John had been drinking and it is taking him a while to focus exactly on what is going on; I ...

Police came in the middle of the night to remove the #OccupySF camp. At roughly timestamp 2:00 in the video, you can see officer #682 attack an unarmed protestor who had just complied with his order to get back on the sidewalk. At timestamp 2:50 officer #682 appears to punch the subdued protestor in the head. The video doesn't show it well but, in person, the punch was clear and you can hear the reaction from the crowd who saw it too. I want to take a moment and thank the vast majority of the SFPD force which, that night, showed restraint and professionalism in the face of a difficult crowd. Not all cops are bad. Most of them are just like the rest of us: the 99%. Update: Officer #682 may be Ronald T Liberta based on a 2-yr old court filing: docs.justia.com (Thanks to @fakeconsultant)

I was at Walmart in Buckeye, Arizona for Black Friday. At approximately 10:00pm on Thursday Nov. 24, 2011, the Madness started. Kids and adults pilled up on top of each other in an attempt to obtain discounted video games. A police officer accused an older man of shoplifting (while he was still in the store). The older man put a video game in his pants, with every intent to pay for the item, to free his arms and protect his grandson from the dangerous environment. the police officer then slammed this older mans face on the floor and knocked him out. The man was bleeding a lot. THIS INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR CONDUCTED AND CONDONED BY BUCKEYE POLICE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. The bald police officer (OFFICER RORKE) in the video, who conducted this horrendous behavior, also assaulted me really hard before the madness even began!

Occupy Wall St March of 14.10.11. At apx 6:30 am, it was announced in the General Assembly (GA) that Brookfield Properties was not going to force an eviction under the guise of "park-cleaning". Around 7:30 or so, the pent-up energy of the hundreds of protestors packed cheek to jowl exploded into two unscheduled and, as usual, unpermitted marches: one going north on Broadway, the other going south. This is footage from the south-bound march. In front of 33 Beaver St, the protestors, fed up from harassment eariler in the day, and being chased and herded by a phalanx of cop-cycles, decided to turn in protest and stand their ground. There were a good many hot-heads on both sides. As you can see, a few protestors pushed the cycles, resulting in escalation which suddenly resulted in a rush-attack by the police. Key points to notice here: 1) The protestor who you can see getting arrested is mostly passive. 2) The aggressiveness of the protestors in no way justifies the brutality seen here and in later clashes. 3) The Press is denied access to view and record the beating, arrest, and handling of this protestor. indeed, they are chased off with night-sticks. 4) The (green-hat) member of the lawyers guild was denied access to protect her client.
